Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Indianapolis W - Airport Area, an IHG Hotel

Liked the amount of space in our suite, as well as the jetted bath tub.

There were some definite miscommunications between Booking and the actual hotel. While they didn't ruin the trip, they were still frustrating. The confirmation info we received said the deposit amount would be $25, whereas when we checked-in we were told it was $150. The hotel also did not accept Discover, which is what our bank uses for debit cards. Booking did not mention this type of payment wasn't accepted which caused some stress when we tried to check in and instead had to use a different card.

If I remember correctly, the breakfast had photos of waffles and bacon, but they did not have that during breakfast so that was disappointing. pool rules didn’t seem to be regulated well, but to be fair we didn’t complain because we didn’t want to be those people. But children were shrieking and spraying us and all of our things with water guns etc. I know kids will be kids, but it was over the top and we didn’t even get a chance to use the pool. So, think they should have some sort of employee supervising too.

We really liked that the room was newly remodeled! I really liked the colors and that there is no carpet. I liked that I could get ready at the sink while my sister took a shower and vice versa.

The room that the toilet and shower are in is really too small. If either of us was a larger person, the room would be too small. The microwave door seemed to stick as it was hard to open.

Good for what I needed, the staff was great and one guy just gave me what I was trying to purchase from the little food section.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the parking lot as horrible if you didn’t park early. I didn’t like that the parking lot was shared with the Motel 6 because there were some shady people at the Motel 6 just hanging in the parking lot

The hotel and rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were extremely polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included a great variety of food- better than most hotels I have been to!

The indoor pool was a nice size but was not well heated. The air temperature in the pool room felt too cold and the water temperature was not warm enough

We called the night before for early check in and they said ok.. when we arrived they said no. We spent the first night elsewhere as a result. But when we came back they upgraded us it was a different person.. very nice. Very big and clean. Good breakfast bar.

Better communication needed for early check-in

I have been traveling to Plainfield and Indianapolis few months to see family now that I live close. 5th trip and definitely the cleanest and most normal place we have stayed. Will stay here again.

only thing that was a bummer, there is not a jacuzzi tub at the pool. you’ll see it in the pictures but that area is the same temperature as the rest of the pool with no jets.

I loved our room. We booked the executive suite. It was spacious and quiet on the top floor. Spa tub! Employees were very welcoming and friendly.

Elevator needs maintenance. No jacuzzi at the pool? And the parking lot was shared with the hotel next door, so it was difficult to find a spot

Cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel. The hot breakfast was nice. There was separate heat/ ac in the living area and the bedroom. Having a microwave and mini fridge in the room was very convenient.

The sofa in the living room area was uncomfortable to sit on. It was in very good condition... just an uncomfortable place to sit because the cushions were hard, maybe because it was sofa bed. Nonetheless it was uncomfortable. And the pool was closed!

The staff was all very friendly and professional. It was quiet and very clean.

The only thing I was disappointed in, is there was no change machine. I needed to do laundry and there was very little change to be had anywhere in the hotel. Ended up not being able to dry my clothes.
