My Place Hotel-Indianapolis Airport/Plainfield, IN

Very clean and spacious with a kitchenette. 8 minute drive from airport.

There was no flatware or dishes in the kitchenette. Not a huge deal since we just wanted to heat up and eat leftovers from a restaurant, but definitely didn’t want to microwaving styrofoam… Luckily we were able to get a disposable utensils from the front desk (didn’t ask about plates) and just at leftovers cold.

We were surprised at how modern and clean the property was! The price is phenomenal for what you get. It is located close to the highway and around several options for food.

I wish they had a sheer on the window instead of just the shade because you couldn’t leave the shade up and no one see you in your room, especially on the first floor

I picked this hotel for two reasons: First, we needed to be as close to the airport as possible for an early morning flight. Second, I have never stayed at a My Place Hotel and was curious as to what these hotels were like. The location was indeed perfect -- not too far from the airport and within walking distance of a Brewpub, which was perfect for a late dinner and drinks. Re/ the hotel - the room was very spacious, and the facilities looked very nice and fairly new.

There was a fairly big complaint that my friend and I had about this hotel: The walls were very thin, and it was easy to hear everything in adjoining rooms. My friend and I were actually in separate rooms on the same floor, and we both had this experience. We don't know if this is characteristic of all My Place hotels, or if it is something unique about how this one was constructed, but we probably would chose another airport hotel in the future since this bothered both of us.

Staff was okay, handed her my license and credit card upon arrival. Said no I don’t need your credit card , then took a phone call 15min. then said I need your credit card but you have to swipe, then fill out a waiver . I guess an above average process.. stay in lots of hotels.. no ice machines at all other then refrigerator in room which had 10cubes . lol

Breakfast? I didn’t see anything posted about breakfast other than it could be delivered to the room. Nor did I see where breakfast would be. Full kitchen was an absolute bonus!

No ice machines. I turned on the ice machine in the room around 6pm. By 7am the next morning, there was only around 12 cubes.

This is now my go-to place when I travel to the area. The hotel is fairly new (about a year old). The room had a mini kitchen with full-size refrigerator, cook top, and microwave. The bathroom was spotless and the tub sparkling clean with no soap build up. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Lighting was great, although it took me awhile to figure out that the desk/bedroom area has more lights than I thought. The switch is on the wall when you first come in. Breakfast was not included, which is no big deal to me. There are plenty of fast food and dine-in restaurants nearby. The rate was good and reasonable. I brought a small dog, and they charge a daily fee for pets ($10). My room was downstairs close to an exit, which was very convenient for taking my dog outside. The hotel was quite. I wish I had a reason to stay longer! Definitely recommend!

This hotel was fantastic. About 10 minutes away from the Indianapolis international airport. The room was super clean the value was really good and we have no complaints whatsoever about this hotel property. I conduct business in the area frequently and have stayed here before. It continues to remain a great value comfortable safe hotel.

Helpful staff. Good size room. Full size fridge and microwave In room. Well-functioning door locks. Great shower and plentiful, thick towels. Availability of laundry facilities.

Food available for purchase was overpriced - $7.00 for a Walmart version of Hot Pockets was rather ridiculous.

Wow. I could live here for a week. It was more like a mini apartment than a hotel room. I ended up staying an extra day just because I needed the rest, and room was so pleasant.

We requested a first floor room near the back entrance so we could transport our furry family easier. We got a room exactly there! Thank you :) Also Terminator 2 was on HBO and that's my favorite. Thanks for having HBO and listening to our requests!
