Days Inn by Wyndham Ellis

The property is quiet and seems clean. Beds are comfortable. Location is excellent.

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the last week and both times I had light bulbs that were burnt out. My first stay, the entry light bulb was burnt out. My second stay, the entry light bulb was out and the fluorescent light bulb above the mirror in the bathroom was burnt out. Had to switch rooms because the bathroom was very dark without the fluorescent light and discovered the remote control battery was dead in the new room Peggy, the receptionist, could try to be a tiny bit friendlier. She told me that she works a lot but she doesn't have to have the personality of a zombie. Eye contact, a pleasant acknowledgment and a smile would make this property much more appealing. She portrays that she doesn't care for her job.

Awesome pricing, perfect location right outside of Hayes, across the street from loves truck stop for easy re-fueling in the morning, large rooms, clean sheets

Loves truck stop parking lot is right next to the hotel. There is a steady rumble from idleing trucks while the truckers sleep. It didn't bother me but a light sleeper might not enjoy

Did not try the breakfast as we got in late and slept longer than planned. My only complaint is the front desk guy was pretty rude when I first got there because we got there at 4am after driving from Colorado. The floor had some stains but the room was clean and the bed was a decent quality, the pillows kinda sucked

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Easy access,close to highway.

Our room was right next to semi truck parking area which made it hard to sleep with trucks pulling in and out and diesel engine noise most of the night.

This place was a hidden gem! The evening desk clerk was friendly and fun. The facilities were very clean, but I was bummed the hot tub wasn't working. I didn't notice the signs until I stuck my food in the cold water, which was gross but my own fault. Breakfast was wonderful and included a mix of hot and cold foods. I had hot oatmeal and a hardboiled egg. My kids had bagels with cream cheese, cereal, and hot chocolate. Delivery options are limited, but I found a place that delivered pizza and tacos. Can't remember the name of it, but my kids enjoyed it.

The hot tub was broken, which was a bummer since it's one of the reasons I chose this location. However, it was still a great value overall and we would stay there again.

Breakfast was more than continental but not buffet. Traveling would have liked at least a sasuge or bacon biscuit.

Above mentioned need of biscuits for breakfast. Public restroom was stained and needs cleaned or replaced. Asked if paper plates were available for a group of 10 they said there were only 5 with a clear view of a stack of plates. Only one room key given for each room of 3-4 people.

Breakfast is boiled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, yogurt and different bread/muffin options. Coffee was good. No fruit. There are about 6 tables plus a large counter for eating, tv with news playing, etc. Beds are quite comfortable; linens clean; though the towels could use re-furbishing. Good shower, hairdryer, luggage rack, microwave and large fridge. Decent lighting (which is not a given these days). Across from a Love's, Subway, and Dairy Queen. Stop at Arthur's downtown for pizza or Mexican! Good room-controlled AC. Quiet.

Towels. Front desk could tell you where the elevators are, breakfast hours, etc. without having to ask. Our tv didn't work.

Room was fine.

They didn't have enough towels,washclothes,etc. If they took the used ones from your room you had to wait for them to do laundry before you would get fresh clean ones. Also why do the pet friendly rooms have carpet everywhere? Would make more sense to have laminate flooring.

Nice front desk staff. Nice room. Just had trouble with room/outdoor entrance key….to me—that does make any ‘entrance’ and 1st impression a bummer because I can’t simply get in a quietly settled. All worked out well and I left it, to me, as nice or nicer than when I arrived and had towels in a pile and linens in a pile and comforters/colored covers, in another and took out the garbage. I do not like if my food or garbage is left in the room because if I’ve reheated my dinner..I do nottt like the smell to be what the cleaning staff walk into. Yuck. So..hoping I was an easy caring guest…because that is my goal!

Location and enough parking..nice sized room

The breakfast was wonderful. The only negative was that eggs, bacons or sausage was not offered. The motel smelled and looked clean when I entered the building. The same can be said of my room. Very quiet and comfortable.

Only that eggs, bacon or sausage could have been offered.
