Sleep Inn & Suites Hays I-70

The breakfast was exactly what we expected. It was good, hot and cooked properly. Dining area was a tad small, but we got to sit with fellow travelers we had never met before. Had a great conversation over coffee.

We found one bedside lamp was not working and it was not the bulb’s fault. Reported it to the front desk as soon as we found out there was a problem. Didn’t get corrected that evening. I reported it again when we checked out and the gentleman behind the counter stated that was the first he had heard of it. Minor irritation on our part.

Room size was great. I have a daughter in a wheelchair and it's sometimes hard to maneuver in hotel rooms but this was a nice size to park without being in the way in the night. Great breakfast, friendly staff.

The bathroom needed a little maintenance, it was clean but the drywall was damaged from water and crumbling near the bathtub.

The Hays Sleep Inn and Suites was clean and well run. The beds were very comfortable. Corridors were quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night's rest. Personnel were courteous and efficient. It is located in an easy to reach spot very close to I-70, convenient whether you are visiting Hays or in transit.

At breakfast, items could have been replenished more generously. When we arrived, there were no more bagels or butter, and none were brought.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good, there was a lot of road construction going on around the hotel that made it a little difficult to get to the hotel. However, the location is good. Close to a traffic light which made dealing with the construction better.

Breakfast room seemed to be too small and not a lot of choices. Parking is ok but limited- probably enough spaces for the number of rooms but it doesn't look like it. It was a busy weekend for Hays, KS. The hotel was full and coming back in the late evening it was hard to find a parking spot.

My kids love the waffles there. They liked having the flavored waffles. The beds were somewhat lumpy and my hubby is 6’ tall and his feet hang over the end so that’s not pleasant at all. The elevator didn’t really work efficiently. We used the stairs.

Longer beds for taller people

Gentleman in the breakfast area did an excellent job. Shied us where everything was and kept it very clean. He was very polite! You really need to let him know that he does a wonderful job of greeting your customers. I have traveled a lot this summer and he’s breakfast area is the best by far! Way to go!!! 6.26.2022

Pool heater didn’t work but that was okay. Things happen.

The place was clean, the staff was very helpful and professional. Beds were comfy and breakfast had a variety of options.

We didn't understand the difference between a standard queen and queen room. So, we ended up with a room without a microwave. The staff offered to move us to another room, but we said that wasn't necessary. He let us use the microwave in the breakfast room that night.

Very convenient and a great value good breakfast and very customer focused staff

Property was Starting to show some wear. Toilet was broken ,shower stall paint was peeling off ceiling and wallpaper was starting to peel

We appreciated being close to a Home Depot and Walmart, and a good mexican restaurant in walking distance. We used the gym and laundry facilities also.

My only wish was to not be next to the stairwell. I could have asked to be moved, but didn’t.

The staff was exceptional, helpful and friendly. Whoever was working Sunday night and Monday morning (September19-20) were excellent! We had a small baby and they were very kind.🌟🌟🌟

Clean, Good price, Modern, beds very comfortable, had plenty of towels and amenities. Fellow working Monday morning brought us a luggage cart to our room to help with the baby! We were impressed! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
