La Quinta by Wyndham Olathe

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located for our use.

Housekeeping was a little sloppy because when we checked into the room the used soap and shampoo were still in the bathroom. It makes me wonder how well the room/bathroom was cleaned.

We needed to make this booking the morning of our travels due to our AirBNB being canceled. This was our best quality and best priced option. It ended up working really well for us, we booked two rooms for six people and each room had three double beds. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bathroom had great lighting with lots of counter space.

There were only a couple of things we didn't like. There didn't seem to be enough parking. The lot filled quick and there was a large metal dumpster and other construction items taking up parking spaces that needed to be used. Also, the door didn't latch on it's own when we closed it, every time we shut the door from the inside we had to push it shut and lock it because it wouldn't latch otherwise, and when we were leaving we had to pull the door shut really hard and lift up the handle for it to lock.

The same hot breakfast everyday. Our room smelled like a nasty wet mop when we came in. The rooms looks old too. Jacuzzi is small and lacks power. That you took 2 pending charges on my card with out telling me when it was switched to a completely different card.

love the that beds were decent and location is dead on . they are full continental breakfast which was great.

the pool room is very strong muggy and chlorine smells. need to have a way to open that room up some more to make it comfortable so you can watch your children without having to get into the water itself

when I booked, it said free breakfast. Great! Then I received email before I left that said bag breakfast only. When I showed up.....hot breakfast. Confusing to the public...get it right.... And, kind of expensive for a nites stay....

Room

I paid $200 a night for my first night because that’s all the rooms they had. The subsequent 4 nights, I found a lower rate on Booking.com. When I had to extend my stay for 5 more nights, the clerk/manager on duty mentioned that there is a “hospital rate” for $75 a night. I am so thankful they offered that rate and were able to extend my stay as my mother was in the hospital 100 miles from her home and I had flown in from Atlanta. That should have been mentioned for my initial check in or at least for the four nights afterward.

we love this location! they are in the middle of a remodel and seeing them working so hard yet not skipping a beat in being kind , keeping the facilities very clean and operational. we will continue to book at this location every time we’re in the area! excited to see the upgrades on the next trip through.

I found hair in the bed and some sort of crumbs like someone ate in bed. Which made me think they didn't change the bedding and the water in shower was so hard pulled my skin when trying to dry off! Floors weren't vacuumed either! Where we parked in parking lot there was a tampon underneath my door when I stepped out! We stayed here before and it seemed to be better then!

Very friendly and nice staff

The TV was hard to navigate. Rhe bathroom tub had stains. The hallway carpets were dirty. The bed has a memory foam mattress not my favorite hard to move around. Having said this they are remodeling so will be better soon.
