Delta Hotels by Marriott Ashland Downtown

The staff was incredibly courteous and friendly! Madison served our breakfast in the dining room and was absolutely a delight and the food was delicious . silverware was spotty and the floor was sticky. The bourbon bar was a pleasant surprise and the selection of bourbons was incredible. The food choices at the bar were not great. The king size bed was quite comfortable. The tile in the bathroom appeared unclean; although it could have been a design flaw. Generally, the room was clean and inviting.; however, there was a mascara stain on the comforter. The seal around the door to our room was ineffective as a barrier of. light, sound and draft from the hallway.

The location and the environment is very nice. The food at the Winchester is good and not unreasonable. The price on drinks is standard for the area. Staff were amazing and friendly. Best place to stay in Ashland.

It is clear that they are suffering from staffing and supply issues. A substantial number of items were out of stock in their store and in the restaurant. While the rooms were spotless and well maintained some of the common areas could of used some additional attention. When I went to get ice down a long hall, with some lighting issues I felt like I had walked into a bad horror film, especially when I saw the discarded dismembered baby-doll on the shelf behind the ice machine.

Great location, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff. We enjoyed our short stay for a show at the Paramount. Staff was very welcoming, live music at the Guitar Bar was great for celebrating St. Pattys Day. Bed was very comfortable, rooms were spacious and clean.

The Wifi was just awful. We connected many times and could never get anything to load up. Instead we just used our mobile network, which is fine, but would have liked to use the WiFi at times.

The restaurant was really good. Great staff and service!! The managers were all supportive and helpful. Everyone was friendly. Hayden and Katy were our servers for dinner and breakfast both did great. The bartenders upstairs and the guitar bar were all GREAT!! Food was really good too. Everything you needed was right there! NYE party was a wild one but in a good way,lol. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Look forward to coming back!

It was very pretty, and I liked the filtered water dispensers to reduce plastic use. The location in downtown Ashland was convenient. And the room had a nice view of the river.

1. Thin walls: the sound carries--some people down the hall had a loud party at 4am that woke us up. 2. No complementary breakfast: for the price, there should be complimentary breakfast of some kind 3. Inadequate parking: there were no spaces available in the hotel parking lot so we had to park on the street.

Basically the location was the reason I stayed at this hotel as I was arriving and leaving by train 🚆 and the station is only a 5 minute walk down 15th Street. Good breakfast in the Winchester restaurant. Spacious room and comfortable bed 🛌.

Great location considering just a few minutes' walk from train station and safe during the night. Great prices during happy hour.

For the price breakfast should have been included. The carpet in our room had stains and spots, steam cleaning is recommended. There is NO UBER in Ashland!

Cleanliness and staff friendliness

I was on the 7th floor, however, the outdoor seating for the restaurant /bar was below me. It was very noisy. Valet parking was advertised but not available when I arrived. No guidance on parking...just a notice that car would be towed if parking tag was not displayed in window. It was a long trip and I was not happy to have to make another trip back to my vehicle to display the tag.

My bed was maybe one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. The room size was great. The shower was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful.

I felt like a burden while checking in. The clerk was busy when I first came up to the desk, which I absolutely understand, but she didn’t even acknowledge me. The phone rang about 5 seconds after she finally did start helping me, and she answered it and helped another customer book their stay while I stood there holding my bags. I requested an extra blanket when I checked into the room. I had to call to get it at 10:30. The A/C ran constantly. Even when I turned the temperature up, the fan never went off. There were hairs in the shower and on the sink when I got to the room. If they so easily missed those while cleaning, it concerns me that maybe everything else wasn’t as clean as you’d like it to be in a pandemic. No Valet

The facility was very modern and clean. I loved the restaurant and bar. Food was delicious, did not have to wait a long time, and did not have to pay an arm and a leg for a nice dinner. We went to the bar after a show, and was very happy with that as well. 10/10 all around facility
