Baymont by Wyndham Cave City

Room and sheets, linens, towels were clean. Quiet room, did not hear neighbors. Rate was fine as advertised. Close to Mammoth National Park (10 minute drive). Breakfast was fine for the assorted cold food, the hot links and especially the eggs left some to be desired, but cereal, toasted waffles and doughnuts and juice were enough anyway. Several restaurants nearby.

Only negative was the shower curtain bar was coming off the wall. Told the desk clerk at breakfast and she added it to the maintenance person's to do list. Not a biggie.

Comfortable room for the price... The ac worked great, room was clean, nice size fridge, coffee pot and microwave, big comfy king bed... Not a 300 dollar room of course so don't expect that but for 89 dollars! It was perfect considering we spent 85% of our time out on adventures, which the room was very conveniently located to!!

The room had a different ( hard to pinpoint) smell to it.. We did grab some room spray. I was showed two rooms to decide which direction I wanted to go and both rooms had the same smell on opiosite sides of the building. The hot tub room I was shown the housekeepers didn't fold the couch bed back up. Other than that though like I said before for the price it was clean and comfy enough forsure!

loved the location close to the attractions (caves, restaurants, gas stations) as well as the friendliness of all the staff. The breakfast was nice to have at our disposal and had bagels, cream cheese, cereal, sausage links, biscuits, frozen waffles, packaged donuts, granola bars, juice, and coffee. Overall, the hotel is a great option for traveling families and is very cozy and a great deal for the cost.

Our room could have been cleaner (there was a dead fly on the floor) and the bathroom sink had toothpaste and hair on it. However, we mentioned this to the hotel staff and they went and re-cleaned it without issue and were very nice.

The receptionist the night we checked in was wonderful. She was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know. The room was very comfortable, especially the pillows. They were soft instead of the normal square hockey pucks. The bathroom and sink areas were clean. The location is perfect - close to the on/off highway ramp, but not too close for the highway noise.

The receptionist the next morning was nice but could have smiled more. He was very nice, but seemed like he didn't really want to be there. The breakfast was okay, but eggs would have been nice.

Automne at the front night desk was cheerful, professional and informative regarding the local attractions I was interested in. Kyle on the morning desk was also cheerful, welcoming and professional. I informed him of a problem with the room and he immediately noted it down to follow up and when I asked for more milk for breakfast, it was brought immediately with a smile. The room appears to have been renovated for handicap access and I found the way the bath was built with rails and a fold down seat really solid and useful for those needing it but also non intrusive for myself who didnt. I am happy to find a bath in a hotel but the shower also worked well so all needs and preferences were met. The space on entry near the bed gives a real sense of space and comfort. The fridge and micro-wave were helpful on my travels. I do not like paper cups, however, I now pack my own cup with me so I'm prepared. The breakfast included a very good range of offers to suite different tastes and as I was going on a hike, I was pleased to have the sausage, egg and toast for protein whereas normally I would have been happy with your yogurt or cereal.

The only thing that was a problem was the fridge door that would not close but I signaled that to maintenance and believe it will be an easy fix. I also prefer real cups rather than paper but believe the change is perhaps ecological or covid hygiene related.

The evening receptionist very accommodating nice lady, the night person seemed a little lackadaisical forgot to turn warmer on so breakfast wasn’t warm. So other than that good stay.

Other than not being able to use the breakfast options nothing else was bad. The wife on the other hand was a little put out that there weren’t a couple more towels in the bathroom for she has long hair and uses 2 when she showers but not a show stopper by no means.

The room was small but comfortable. It was a great value for the price. The room was clean and updated for the most part. The location was great. The mattress was very comfortable. I would stay again for that price.

On opening the door it had a musty smell. After I sprayed everything with Lysol including the air vent it smelled much better. I cleaned the bathroom floor and then felt much better. The breakfast was just take away with individual danish. I was hoping for more fruit. But for the value it was good. The bedding was a little worn but clean.

Great location to Mammoth Cave, good sized room, vanity outside of toilet/shower area, good sized refrigerator with small freezer, very comfortable beds.

vent fan in bathroom didn’t work too well so it was rather hot/humid in there. Our air conditioner went out our last night there so it was a bit warmer than we would have liked it.

Baymont isn't bursting with amenities, but it was a clean, nice room at a very affordable price. The staff was friendly, check in and check out were both easy to do, the hotel was in a central location to all the things we did and we had a nice time overall.

The breakfast choices were a little sparse, but that's likely more to do with Covid restrictions than anything. The restrooms in the lobby were out of order, but that didn't affect us too much since we had a room we were staying in and could use. All in all, nothing really negative to say about our stay!

It was convenient and we liked the out side door for loading and unloading. Very little walking and carrying required for senior couple.Nice outdoor pool. Met our needs for one night stay. One person staff who was very friendly and helpful.

This was a good value. No dislikes. Don’t expect expensive appointments for the price.
