The breakfast was very tasty with a delightful dining area and fresh flowers on the tables and pretty dishes and glassware. Interesting antiques all around, pleasing to the eye. Nice and quiet atmosphere, pleasant lighting. Friendly staff, nice selection of teas and nice hot tasty coffee in the kitchen. Our rooms were spacious and very clean, beds were very comfortable. Nice bathrooms in each room, good tv reception. The Inn was quiet and peaceful and wonderful air conditioning with old fashioned fans in each room, which we appreciated as it was very hot that day. Overall, a cozy comfortable “back in time” place to stay. I plan on returning as soon as I can. A great place to stay and would highly recommend.

One of the rooms could have used a little table stand of some sort next to the pedestal sink in order to place things. Also, paper cups could be provided for brushing teeth or getting a drink of water.

Breakfast was very good and was served in a charming dining room. There was fresh fruit, homemade waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon along with juice. The house has many historical photos and a wonderful collection of antiques. Our room was decorated beautifully, and we enjoyed our quiet, comfortable stay.

We had seen information and pictures online that showed that they had a cafe open from 4-8. We were expecting to be able to have dinner there when we arrived and were surprised when we found out the cafe had been closed for quite a while. (Not a problem, but we were tired and were looking forward to staying in once we arrived). Karin gave us some good recommendations of local eateries and we found a great place to eat.

The Breakfast was served in and exceptionally well appointed room. The food was delicious and nutritious and the owners serving gave the meal a homey feeling. We also met some wonderful people...other guests and had an exceptionally convivial time during our stay because of them.

If you want to be in the center of shopping and commerce, this is not the place for you. But if you want a warm and inviting ambiance with fine classical furnishings in a very quiet green space, the Grand Victorian Inn will be perfect for you as it was for us.

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Victorian Inn. The Inn and room was quiet even being next to the railroad track. The breakfast was just right amount to hit the day. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the rockers of an evening. The town (Park City) was very small and quiet. The Inn held many old memorability which made it interesting as well.

The location was nice to get out of a main town or city, but did not lend itself for dining options. We travelled a good distance to get a decent dinner option (your run of the mill restaurants were around - i.e. KFC, Taco Bell, etc.). When I go on vacation, I enjoy trying new, local places.

Gorgeous old mansion, decorated in true Victorian style. Breakfast was amazing: fruit, bacon, eggs, pancakes/waffles/French toast. And the hosts were very friendly. The location is perfect for accessing mammoth cave national park and all of the surrounding cave attractions. The location is very rural, so there is not a lot to do other than park related activities nearby. We did do day trips to Nashville and Louisville; each said he was about an hour and 20 minutes away.

We liked everything

Easily accessible. Very close to the caves. Historical building with unique easthetic. Next to a park and Bells tavern (historical destructed structure). Very caring and friendly host. Its a personable touch you won’t find at hotel/motels.

My room was above the lobby and when I went to get the rest of my bags I could hear the rest of my party simply walking around. I felt bad at the thought of other guests hearing me so I tried to limit movement in the room. BUT, this is a historical Inn and I knew the likelihood of this. it’s nowhere near enough of an issue to stop one from staying here. it’s an amazing gem.

The property was located in quiet rural area but also close to the Mammoth Cave attractions I was visiting. The Inn is decorated with beautiful antiques and the bed was so comfortable! The owners Karin and Gary are such nice people and fun to talk to and the breakfast they made us was lovely and filled me up until dinner time.

Room was pleasant and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and attractively presented. The owner was friendly and happy to tell us about the inn.

The room was a bit warm during the first part of our overnight stay. We were a bit surprised that there was no-one on site on our arrival and left wondering for a bit before we were called and given instructions as how to enter and get to our room.

The breakfast presentation was great and the taste was delicious. Atmosphere was friendly and warm.

Loved the train but a warning about when to expect it would have been nice.

It was grand, huge, clean, and well decorated. The bed and the room was comfy. An additional fan was also given. The building looks so much like from an old Hollywood murder mystery. It was very silent in the night and everything was perfect. Next morning the breakfast was great too.

Mostly nothing - still the bed could be a little more bigger. The size was small for two adults.
