Best Western Inn Florence

The location was centrally located between the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum, and downtown Cincinnati, and there were many dining options nearby. The facility has been recently updated and the room was clean and comfortable. I had a special request that they not use air freshener sprays in the room (due to my allergies), which I entered when booking on line. I called ahead the day before, and it didn't appear that they were aware of that request, but they made a note of it and my room was lovely and fragrance-free when we arrived.

The "hot breakfast" was unimpressive, and the breakfast area was small, so often the area was congested and some people were unable to be seated. Maybe they should try a good quality continental breakfast instead that people could take to their rooms when the breakfast area is full.

The woman at the front desk was nice and very professional. It wasn't "exceptionally" clean but it was cleaner than most hotels I have stayed at so for the price I was impressed. Comfy, clean beds. Good sized fridge. Great location, right off the interstate and 4 minutes from the mall. I didn't get to eat breakfast but was told it was a full hot breakfast from 6 to 10 which is later than most hotels. Overall I was very impressed for about $70 on a Saturday.

The only real negative was that the elevator wasn't working, which happens from time to time. Only stayed one night so it wasn't too big of an inconvenience.

waffle batter was too running to use each of the 3 mornings. I let front desk know and attempted to resolve variety could have been better - biscuits and gravy each day with a meat. would have been nice to have eggs instead one of the days

hotel was basically full and everyone was eating breakfast. would have been nice to have someone with their primary responsibility to take care of needs. seemed like front desk EE had to do it all

Rooms met expectations and looks like the Internet pictures. The room had a pleasant smell. Coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator in the room.

We arrived 10 minutes before 3, the receptionist refused to allow us, as a black family, to use the bathroom, but a white woman with a dog was given the go ahead. Her initial attitude was unwelcoming, though she later changed. The next morning at checkout she was pleasant. The young man who followed her after shift change was helpful and pleasant.

My wife loved the spa bath she relaxed in at least four times over two days. The staff was fantastic Tammie had the breakfast bar Immaculate and well furnished everything was available to us and it was in good tasting order thank you Tammie!

The only negative was the road was detoured around the main drag to get to the hotel. A little inconvenient but nothing we couldn't handle

Friendly, quick check in. Useful luggage carts. Very nice, large room #109 and King bed. Very clean. Beautiful bathroom Heating worked well. We would happily stay here again.

The breakfast room is too small for a large hotel. It was packed with other guests Quality of food was OK. The staff could not keep up with keeping it stocked during breakfast time. The weak link at a fine Hotel.

The staff was phenomenal considering the situation they were in. They were well prepared to keep things going as best that they could with no power. There’s only some much that any one can do in that situation. Great staff

I would have like to seen a reduction in the price some since there was no power , hot water or breakfast due the power outage from the storm.

Breakfast was well stocked with both hot and cold items. Room was comfortable, bed was especially so . Location was perfect for visiting Creation museum and Ark Encounter as well

Side entrance closest to our room was not secure and would neither close completely or lock.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good!

We stayed in a King Suite with a spa tub, which we look forward to our baths (that is why we get these rooms), and the tub would not stay full, the drain was broken so even with it closed it would not hold the water. Cleanliness was 6/10, shower needed a good scrub and there was hair all over the floor.

The orange juice was very tasty. The hotel was typically quiet. Shower was clean. Friendly staff.

Beds were very hard. Breakfast options were limited. Dining area was too small. One night fresh cookies were available in the lobby, next night not... inconsistent.
