Hampton Inn Cincinnati Airport South

Breakfast was great! There were different options every morning. I really loved the snack bar option as well. I bought several snacks and drinks from the snack bar in the evening. Location was perfect and close to everything. Room was clean and comfortable.

I understand barn doors are in style right now, but I really don’t understand putting a barn door on the bathroom. Especially a barn door without a lock or a way to keep it shut. Every time someone was in the bathroom, the barn door would eventually slide the whole way open. It never stayed shut no matter what we tried.

Location near CVG airport was our priority, and you can't get much closer than a 15-minute drive away. The free shuttle was icing on the cake. You know how expensive long term parking is or a taxi ride to the airport? Staff were very accommodating and courteous. Rooms were clean.

Rooms were a tad small for price, but definitely sufficient for sleeping prior to a red-eye flight. Lighting was a little lacking but did not create an issue.

sliding bathroom door is terrible.

Breakfasts were fine, location perfect and nice variety of restaurants in walking/driving distance. Beds,are always very comfy and I LOVE the pillows!!

The shower gel dispenser was empty. I just happened to have a bar of soap from another trip. And, there was ONLY 1 bar of soap in the bathroom at sink. Was disappointed too no clock. I dont wear a watch and had to keep opening my phone...which wasnt always close by.

I love the breakfast selections. I would like the ending time to be 10:30 or 11:00 am. We travel from the West Coast and the time change of 3 hours makes a huge difference. We love the beds and comforters!

I would like breakfast extended to 10:30 or 11:00 am due to time change from West Coast to East Coast time differential. I don’t like the new policy that dictates I call for room cleaning and towels daily. I realize that others prefer letting you know but I like the “old” way of having a clean room when I return. I would also like to adjust the temperature setting below 65*.

Clean hotel, friendly staff good location to the airport and downtown Cincinnati.

There was only 1 elevator that worked and there was a Taylor swift concert. I don't know if that elevator has ever worked so hard constantly up and down. Luckily there was stairs and it wasn't to big of an issue. Also the sliding doors on the bathroom didn't want to stay closed so it was a little awkward.

This hotel is excellent EXCEPT for the sliding door in the bathroom. It feels like I am doing my business in the same room as my wife. No bathroom fan, see-through door that doesn't close all the way, too much pressure for my shy bowels. This is enough to make me look elsewhere when traveling with my wife.

Breakfast was really good and staff was very quick when the front desk was called. Beds were comfy and we were able to get to everywhere we needed fast because the hotel is right next to the highway.

We did have some towels and pillow cases which had yellow stains on them. The knob for the shower also came off and we had to reattach it.

The entire hallway smelled like a bathroom and it wafted into the room unless we ran the a/c which made for cold sleeping and working. The a/c vent was directly next to the desk. The pillows were awful this time.

Easy parking. Clean inside and outside! Close to everything. I am very picky about hotels so this is a very honest review. I was very nervous about the hotel. The price was average with the other hotels. I have a mold allergy so i always have issues with rooms!! As soon as i walked i to our room i did the smell test ... thank God it passed!!! The room smelled fresh and was clean! I pulled down the bedding to check for hairs etc. it was all good. No mess or nasty anywhere in the room not even behind the bed! The pillows, bedding and beds were comfortable. The staff was awesome. Everyone i spoke with was nice and asked if we needed anything! The housekeeping was great and filled the things i asked for and emptied the garbage and even left extra garbage bags when i asked. The manager was the best hotel manager! He always was smiling and talking to coworkers and guests with respect and kindness. I love going to a hotel and meeting a smiling face rather than seeing employees who look and act like they hate their jobs! The room was pretty quiet and i didn’t hear the neighbors. There was a fridge and coffee pot in the room but not a microwave. I was able to use the microwave in the lobby without any problems. The hot water was Endless and hot. I even had to add cold water to the bath and that never happens! The only complaint I have is that the a/c was making horrible noises during my whole stay but was still cold! The pool was open clean. They ran out of towels at the pool but I asked for a couple of towels and the manager ran right outside and filled them up. I felt safe to roam the hotel and make trips outside to my car and hang in the lobby alone. Close to everything. All the shopping and dining anyone could want! Easy check-in and check-out. Awesome 3 night stay!! Thank you to the Hampton Inn! I will definitely stay at another Hampton!
