Clarion Pointe Richmond North near University

We s here because of recent reviews and how close it was to EKU for Special Olympics. The staff was awesome. Everyone was nice and helpful. Even when the lady got overwhelmed with the lobby becoming fully so quickly. She didn’t miss a beat. Very nice and quick. I do hope they pay their staff decent pay. cleaning. There was someone cleaning the whole time we was there. Cleaning staff was nice. I was seeing staff circulating the halls or outside cleaning. Breakfast was good. There was a sweet older lady taking care of it for us. She busted her butt keeping things filled for us. There is enough restaurants near by you have a choice. Our room. We got double Queen. I forgot pictures of the room but it was clean. Bedding it white. Mural on walls behind bed. Pillows and bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were a little small but clean as well. Room temperature was pleasant. Air worked great. Clean and comfort with things in 10 minute drive to go eat. Great hotel but mostly the staff was great, nice, and easy to talk to. The only disappointment thing I have was the pool wasn’t opened. My son was so anxious to swim while there. They were working on getting the pool opened but our stay ended before that happened. Again not a issue with me but if my son had to say. It was. 😁 Kids Our stay was June 2nd-4th.

The pool wasn’t opened. They were working on it but that was one thing we were looking forward to.

Our stay was a quick one, checked in around 11:00 pm and checked out around 9:00 am. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot! The price was reasonable and a good value.

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The water was hot. I liked having the fridge and microwave in the room.

The pool wasnt open.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be back. it was comfortable, extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was simple but good. the towels were bigger than a lot of hotels and they gave us plenty of them for our stay. We always have to ask for more but it was stocked well for us.

we had no complaints. The only issue that I noticed was that the toilet was a bit low which could be an issue for people with limited mobility, but I am sure that have handicap options that would be better. For us it was fine.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were all friendly and location was perfect for what our plans were

The only thing that was not a 10 was the mattress was like sleeping on a box spring and pillows were not much to be desired but I usually take my own pillow so that is my own fault

The beds, bedding and pillows were great. I appreciated the continental breakfast. The staff was excellent...they were friendly without being overbearing. I loved the updates done to the hotel, you could tell they paid attention to detail. The hotel provides everything needed to travel light and I really appreciated the make up remover cloths as I forgot mine. Im glad we stayed and would definitely stay again.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. There were hairs on the floor and tub and the toliet seat needed attention. I cleaned it myself so the hotel really didnt have the opportunity to correct the error. I felt as if that was just a problem with lack of staff like every other business right now.

Got there late and my reservation through booking .com had got messed up the super nice guy at the front desk worked really hard to help me get it straightened out. Josh will never know how much that meant to me for his help he went above what he had to do to help me. Not many people like Josh left in this work. The rest of the facilities were extra nice also.

The room was perfect and very comfortable for us. The hotel was really pretty and exceeded our expectations!

The location threw us off at first, the GPS is mainly what threw us off it ended up the street from the Hotel so we didn't know exactly where to go from there.

it’s near the vicinity we are visiting. Easy access to the highway.

Well, at first they put me on second floor but they don’t have elevator and we are carrying heavy stuffs. I’ve asked to be transferred to bottom floor and they let us. The Manager ( Betty ) is very friendly and approachable.

Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful

The breakfast could have been better. The only hot food (sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit) was frozen and had to be microwaved. Covid protocols still being observed in the breakfast bar area. Desk clerk had to handle everything, even though there was houskeeping staff who were waiting around, but not working.
