Holiday Inn Express - Lexington East - Winchester, an IHG Hotel

We got to the hotel an hour early and asked if they could check us in. The lady at the desk checked us right in. We were super excited with how clean this facility was. Very nice staff and a very well kept hotel. We will be staying here when we visit again.

The was only one issue and that it was a little pricy. But however it was worth the extra money. When we visit Winchester again. We will definatly be staying here again. With all the ammenities it was worth the price!

Excellent breakfast. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Nice variety of food and beverages. The eating area was crowded when I was there. Given the fluctuating pandemic conditions, I would have felt better if there were plexiglass screens between the tables.

The clerk at the desk wasn't there at check-in. I had to wait 30 minutes for her to return. She did have a sign on the desk that apologized for the inconvenience. When she did return, the manager explained that "something had come up that they needed to tend to." It was dark by the time I arrived. I was tired (500-mile drive) and ready to check in and relax a bit. The 30-minute wait to get a desk clerk was a disappointment.

Lobby and room were very clean. Staff is very kind, helpful and informative. Free breakfast was delicious with so many selections of food. They even kept the breakfast area open a little longer to accommodate everyone.

This was not a deal breaker, but there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the deadbolt on the door wouldn't engage. I felt safe in the hotel, so not a big deal.

Very nice hotel, convenient too! The staff was friendly and welcoming, all of them.

I'd like a secure wifi option

I loved the fact that everyone and I mean everyone who worked there had spoke to me and my wife. A gentleman from way down the hall as I was passing by went out of his way to let me know hope you are having a great day.The hotel was very clean as well as our room. This is the best stay we have had a very very long time. We even stayed an additional night.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like about this property.

Holiday Inns Express are not luxury hotels, but they are typically comfortable and convenient. This one was both of those. I appreciate the placement of power outlets and USB ports at table-level, rather than near the floor. There was plenty of horizontal space for unpacking and for working (e.g., using a laptop). The breakfast offerings were varied and ample.

I think this is a relatively new property, but the shower enclosure in both rooms had significant rust / water stains. Unsightly, but not terribly unpleasant.

This is a really nice hotel! Very clean! They offer everything they promised and the togo breakfast offer is actuaply great vs some hotels sack breakfast during covid! They do hot sandwiches.

I waited downstairs at the desk for a receptionist for 45 minutes and there was nobody whatsoever to be found. I finally left sticky notes on the glass window and eventually had to call down there a 3rd time before we got a pillow when we had already called down there to ask for one an hour and a half before. We waited 2 1/2 hours for a pillow! It was almost 1am before my child could go to bed because she didnt have a pillow.

Clean and comfortable Friendly staff

Very nice, clean, and comfortable. All the staff members were very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best continental breakfast I've had. Property in an odd location that you had to go through another parking lot to get to but accessible. Only real complaint was the pool which was cold for an indoor pool and had way to much chlorine in it.

Everything, but especially the breakfast host. She was such a joy; she made every person feel like they were home!

I was on the fourth floor and could hear the noise from the trucks on the interstate. That is the ONLY complaint.

I travel for my company and it is important that I feel safe. The beds are very comfortable and all of the staff are really nice. I came back to my room very late and needed a fork. The front desk clerk immediately went to the kitchen and got a fork for me.

No complaints.
