Residence Inn by Marriott Covington Northshore

Coffee was good juice was cold. The food options was-biscuit with white gravy or without. Sausage patty No jelly available. Asked for butter and was handed 3 pats in a coffee filter. The only fruit was a bowl in the lobby of whole oranges.

A gentleman was walking out the lobby with his dog and spoke with the front desk rep Kay. He stated the masks are not really necessary. She answers in a loud voice “yes they are” as the man walked out the lobby. She then states even louder “ people who don’t wear masks are stupid. At the time I was sitting at the farthest table in the lobby with the TV on and heard her loud and clear. Her behavior was totally inappropriate. The room was very nice and clean and extremely comfortable . We were a party of 3 so the sofa bed was needed. We did not have bedding in the room and had to call down for it. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to go down to the desk and request a roll.

Loved where it was located. Definitely love the 2 bedroom suites. Whenever we come into town we stay here.

No ice machine at all. That’s very disappointing. Also there is one particular person who works the front desk that always gives an attitude. Very rude. Other then that our stay was amazing.

The fire pit was great. The hot tub was used every night, it was good. The king bed slept good too. Even though pets were allowed, you couldn't hear other people's dogs. The hallways always looked cleaned and vacuumed, no pet hair in site.

The breakfast options were not good and the system on how to get the food was not convenient. The bottom part of the dish washer in the first room wouldn't roll on track. Inside the elevator didn't seem like the walls ever got sanitized or wiped at all.

Seriously everything, the keyless check in, mobile keys, breakfast, pool, room size, parking lot, proximity to main highway and restaurants.

There was nothing to dislike.

Friendly staff and good location; Very spacious rooms

The directions were confusing myself as well as a few other guests went to the wrong Marriott location, this location was further down the street. Party guests were a little confused with directions.

I wish the pullout bed was more comfortable. the mattresses on the pullout beds are super flat and worn

It was our first time staying at Residence Inn. The rooms are great...very spacious and nice. We got the suite so that meant it had a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. They do allow pets. For breakfast...due to COVID...you cannot sit down and it. They served us scrambled eggs and bacon in a to go containers. You can also request fruit. The property has a pool and basketball court. When we travel in the future...we will definitely look for a Residence Inn. This hotel is a great option if you plan to stay multiple days to take advantage of the the kitchen so you don't have to go out to eat all the time. Because of our experience....we signed up for the Marriott Rewards program.

the only thing was people staying by us were loud and cooked something that smelled awful. stunk up the floor. but that wasn’t hotel’s fault.

They don't serve grits for breakfast only oatmeal and I hate oatmeal, need variety!
