The staff was helpful and super friendly.They allowed us an early check in and stored our luggage. after check out.

We were on the 6th floor. We had to switch elevators after the 5th floor to go up to 6. This involved getting off and walking down a hallway with our luggage etc…. Rooms were dimly lit. Parking was $47 a night across the street. They told us there was guest parking but did not disclose a fee.

Paul at the front desk was amazing. Room was nice, clean, and had a beautiful view overlooking Lafayette Park. Walking distance to Canal St. and many delicious restaurants.

The booking.com listing says that parking is available... but nowhere does it mention that this will cost almost $50/day!! Maybe this is common practice in the area? But it was a complete surprise to us coming from out of town (like, you know, most people who stay at a hotel). I'm not against them charging for parking if they want to, but management not mentioning anywhere on their listing that parking will cost so much is pretty scummy.

Location was great, easy to get Lyfts to pick you up right out front, street car was also right out front. Room (king suite) was spacious and comfortable. Staff was all super friendly and helpful. Beautiful building.

NO microwave 😫. I had so many leftovers from eating out and I had a fridge but no microwave instead a safe above the mini fridge. There is a lot of space for a microwave but wasnt one. I feel like with the amount of food I wasted that I could have eaten, this little detail is a dealbreaker from coming back. Cost me a good deal of money not being able to eat some leftovers (that were SO good) vs ordering more food. Bed was good, comfort wise. Also no hair dryer in the room.

The staff was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better interaction. Paul and Shawna (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) and the bellman, sorry can't remember his name were all amazing. The while staff were amazing. The room was perfect, perfect size, bathroom and shower were a dream. The location was in walking distance of everywhere. We bought our dog and the cost for him was a great price, just a cleaning fee, he even loved staying there and right next door was a dog park, so he didn't have to go far for a potty break. I couldn't ask for a better experience, New Orleans people are such amazing people!!!

The only thing I would say about not liking is the parking is pretty narrow so hard to menuever a big vehicle, but that isn't the hotel's fault also there is parking all around if you don't want to park in the valet parking. Go for the valet!

The property was a historic location and central to all the things we wanted to see and do. The room we booked was a suite and quite large and comfortable. My absolute FAVORITE part about the hotel was the staff, they were ALL wonderful and I didn’t get everyone’s names, but notably Paul put a smile on our faces every day. They clearly enjoy what they do and are so welcoming and accommodating in every way!

It was a little older, so some amenities I enjoy like room service were not available; however, there was a world-class steakhouse right downstairs and one block away was a restaurant called “Cafe on the Square” that was where we ended up for breakfast every morning and a couple lunches. We didn’t lack for anything while we were there. The hotel was right on the Saint Charles street car line and we could walk to CVS or Walgreens for supplies like bottled water.

I arrived around 1 pm and was able to settle in my room right away. The hotel is at a great location, close to bus stops, nice restaurants and cafes while staying away from all the chaos in French Quarter. The room has beautiful decorations and is pretty large. The staff were friendly.

Could use more lighting. The bed comforter was too thin. The shower head looked pretty old and wasn't pleasant to use. The wifi was only working for like one night. There was no room cleaning during my 3-night stay. It claimed to be free cancellation but my credit card was charged way before my stay.

As someone not used to staying in fancy hotel rooms, this suite blew my mind. Very elegant allover, the suite was incredibly spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Somehow the surroundings were that of a peaceful uptown place, despite the hotel being only walking distance from the French quarter. Great value for money.

Wish there was a possibility for breakfast, that'd really round out the experience.

We booked late, and so stayed in their only available room: the most incredible penthouse room on the top floor of this historic hotel. What a fun, fantastic experience. The suite was enormous with a living room with two floor to ceiling glass walls that gave us grand views of downtown New Orleans. Everything was clean with luxurious bedding and an outrageously carved headboard that made us feel like we had been transported to 1920's Paris. Parking was provided in a security lot across the street. Such a fun stay! We could walk to all the famous sites in the French Quarter.

There was no breakfast, but we walked through the little park next door and found a restaurant with a most delicious breakfast.

Paul, the guy at the front desk during the day, was helpful throughout, and provided interesting historical details about the hotel. The location is ideal; good restaurants are nearby. The room was quiet, comfortable, and air-conditioned, had a bit of New Orleans flavor to it, and featured a formal desk that proved a convenient place to get some work done.

There was no coffee for the coffee maker; the WiFy password did not appear to be conveniently posted anywhere; the desk clerk did not answer the phone in the evening.

Nice, clean hotel that is well-maintained and still holds its historical charm. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is great for a starting point to explore New Orleans while being far enough away from loud, late-night bars/clubs. Several nice restaurants are within close walking distance from the hotel and the steakhouse located inside the hotel is exceptional. Also, you can’t beat the streetcar stop directly across from the hotel.

Nothing to really complain about.
