Hotel Francis

The staff was friendly and willing to please the guests. New mattress and updates of the property had begun. The breakfast and free dinner were excellent. Breakfast, tied the best, in our five state adventure. Shannon was wonderful. She is the best host that we encountered. The property sits on many acres with a small lake. There is fishing onsite.

The property is old and needs updating. They have begun improving the property. In the future it will again be a grand hotel. Give them a chance if you're in the area visiting one of the plantations.

The best breakfast I have experienced in my travels. The hotel offered a real hot breafast with eggs, grits, & & waffles and not a just muffin & juice like the other hotel we stayed in recently. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a lake so it was quite & peaceful but not very busy this time of year.

The breakfast was great! Also the dinner was very good. The staff was very sweet and kind, they were willing to accommodate my every need. The pool was also very clean(I was a little skeptical, as i always am) and the pond was a nice little touch for the view.

There’s really not much to say, it was a very nice and pleasant stay. ONLY problem i had was that the hot water heater went out.. BUT they were very willing to switch my room for another one so that was very nice!

The motel was a very pleasant surprise. There was a sign saying free rooms for veterans when we pulled up. We were staying 4 nights & when we asked about this they took one night's stay off our bill. There were 3 veterans in our group; each veteran received the discount. We have received veteran's discounts before but never one this big!!! The meals were an Awesome surprise! We travel a lot & have never been to a motel that serves dinner free & the meals were delicious. One of our party has celiac disease & can't eat flour. They made the meals so he could eat them! Talk about going above & beyond. The staff could not have been friendlier.

The motel is old & could use renovations. It was also not as clean as we like.

The staff we're all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location, and being able to step out of our room and see the little pond. The rooms were clean, and comfortable.

The room was great with the exception of the chair. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair, to sit and read. We enjoyed the breakfast, however it would have been nice to have had gravy minus the sausage, as we don't eat pork.

All of the staff, from check-in, to housekeeping, to breakfast cook were excellent. They were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was good. The facility was clean and well located.

This was obviously quite a hotel 20 years ago. You could tell from the location and grounds. But time has crept upon her. It is nothing a new paint job, some renovations, and a yard crew couldn't fix !

The hotel was a bargain, great central location, good room and the staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful (Shannon in particular). Don’t be put off by the reviews about the lumpy car park - they are caused by tree roots and you can easily drive around them.

Continental breakfast had danishes muffins fruit waffles yogurts toast jellies. Cereal juices milk hot chocolate and coffee. We experimented with brown sugar and made the most fabulous of waffles ever . The front desk lady was super awesome. She accommodated our room requests and even switched our location to suit us. The kids made a mess in the breakfast room and she teased us in good spirits. All in all our stay was comfortable clean and friendly. This property is under renovation. So if your a hoity Toity or picky person don't be rude to our new favorite travel spot

What matters was the cleanliness and hospitality. So if there was anything wrong besides that we didn't care.

The front desk staff are so sweet and helpful. They are extremely nice. I can’t say this enough. The property is located in a good place. Do not use the navigation on your phone or you will end up at Tractor Supply 🤣

There’s a $25 pet fee. That’s a little high to me. The doors do not recognize the keys well so I got a different room. It wasn’t the same type of room I requested but it was ok. The hotel is clean but can stand to be updated.

Delicious breakfast with lots of choices, including eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. Staff was hospitable & helpful
