16 Bay View

Everything was perfect! I booked this hotel as a birthday getaway for my husband and I. I wanted the hotel itself to BE the vacation and it surely was! The location of room 36 was a perfect view of the harbor and the beautiful courtyard below. The parking lot for the restaurants below was even gorgeous at night with stings of lights and wonderful smells as well as the view of the boats reflecting off the water. The bed was amazingly comfortable and no expense was spared in the decor. The fireplace was beautiful and kept the room very warm as the nights were still chilly at the end of May. The bathroom was spectacular. The enormous tub was the only one I've seen that fits my 6'4" tall husband with room to spare. The shower had a rain fall, body spray and wand - and the water pressure was strong enough to fully clear out the conditioner from my incredibly thick hair.

There was one night of cleaning missed, but the hotel staff was very apologetic and attended to every need immediately. They more than made up for the oversight.

16 Bay view was in an excellent location to all of the shops and many dining options as well as right near the harbor.Although I did not pay for the higher rooms the balcony we did have was a very nice location to see much of the harbor. We did use the rooftop bar which had an excellent view of the bay. The morning breakfast that was included in the rate was fabulous!

The stay was very nice. If there was anything we did not like was paying for parking because we booked through Bookings.com versus directly through them. The parking was limited due to the Windjammer festival that was going one and we did not want to move our car and possibly lose our space.

love how pet focused they are. they are an elite level of pet friendly. Our puppy Luna was having surgery and as we live on an island we needed a place to stay her first night post op just in case she had any issues. Luna was treated like royalty and I think she believes 16 Bay View is her second home. The staff treated her by name gave her snuggles and when she was afraid of the elevator moved us to a ground floor room so she didn't have to do the stairs after being spayed. We always travel with our pets and are grateful when we find pet friendly hotels Bay View has set a high bar for all others!

We loved the room! Everything was comfy, luxurious bathroom, and being able to sit out on the balcony. Staff and location were great as was the breakfast (delicious).

One of the reasons we selected 16 Bay View was because we wanted to have drinks at the roof top bar overlooking the harbor. However, we were told, after check-in, that the roof top terrace would be closed due to weather. There was some light rain that night. We went up the next morning to take a look and noticed that the rooftop is covered (not enclosed) and there are patio heaters. That was disappointmenting because we had looked forward to it so much.

the bathroom was wonderful- the beautiful jacuzzi tub in the room and the shower had perfect water pressure and exceptionally hot water. the shower also had a wand and body spray option. fireplace in the room was perfect. the vintage room was cozy, with great drinks. the staff were all very friendly and available.

nothing everything was great. we went during a winter weather advisory which was a surprise to us and staff were helpful in figuring out our logistics for getting dinner and dealing with the ice on our car.

well appointed rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, fantastic location.

Room #1 is located next to the elevator on the main level. As such, it was often noisy - especially because it’s the same access point to the hotel’s beautiful rooftop bar. The bedroom window is also located next to some exhaust fans or similar, which run 24/7. The layout makes it noisy and stuffy. If you stay here (and in many ways I recommend it!), just avoid Room #1. For the $, it is disappointing.

The hotel feels like a new hotel. The rooms are beautiful as is the hotel. My room had a living area, a lovely bedroom and a luxury bathroom with a great jacuzzi. We were traveling with a dog and they couldn't have been nicer. Yummy breakfast with quiche, fresh OJ, excellent coffee and homemade muffins. Such a joy to stay there.

The only thing that was a little complicated was the parking. However, the staff were there to take our keys and move our car to an available parking space later in the evening.

The room was very cosy with a fireplace. Loved that! Balcony with nice view Very good bathroom with great shower (water could come form all the corners!) Nice bar where they made great cocktails Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Nice chairs to sit in. Xmas feeling. Good recommendation to go to a mountain and to go to a lobster place

We didn't like the continental breakfast. No options for for instance fresh eggs. No regular bread. Only sweat yogurts. Room temperature was sometimes very hot, but it was good we could open the doors Restaurant recommendations were not the nice restaurants Camden has. The first evening we went to a not so nice restaurant but we found three very great restaurants ourselves. No tea facilities in the room. Only with an instant machine that also made coffee. Would prefer a kettle.

When we booked the property, we had not stayed there before. The service, the personnel, and the stay were exemplary. The bed was very comfortable. My wife was trying to take a picture of a steeple next to the property, and the General Manager brought us to the roof deck which had not yet been opened for the season because the view of the steeple was unblocked by other buildings.

Nothing to dislike. We thought the property was perfect. Highly recommend this property for a stay in Camden.

A lovely hotel in the middle of the Camden scene. Thoughtfully appointed and curated rooms with fresh and fluffy towels, high end furnishings, a beautiful fireplace in each room, a fabulous jacuzzi, dreamy beds and a yummy breakfast. Also a shout out to the staff (Camille and Sharen)who were very warm and welcoming. We only wish we had been staying longer.

The parking situation was a drag even though Camille did all that she could to make it a non event.
