Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island

Didn't pay extra to eat breakfast at the hotel, but thanks for the coffee in the room. The location was lovely.

The handicap rooms should ALWAYS be located on the main floor in case of fire. Because my husband is in a wheel chair, the fact that we could only get a room on an upper floor, even after requesting 1st floor well in advance, presents a huge safety risk and concern for us. Our 5th floor accessible room was lovely, clean and had a great view, but there was no way down other than the elevator....which can't be used in a fire! Not being able to use the pool was disappointing as well. Evidently it had been out of commission all summer. Breakfast should be included in the price, not extra.

Location was excellent. Room was very spacious. Also, everything was very clean. We had a great view of the bay and were very pleased. Lots of great restaurant choices and it was nice to be able to hear the band from our balcony.

At check in one of the older male concierge's was pretty rude and confrontational about bringing our little service dog. He is a legitimate ESA and I have no problem paying extra for him. All the hotels we have ever stayed in do not charge for him so when I asked what the policy and presented the ID the male concierge was very short with me and said "That is a pet, not a service animal you will have to pay for it!". Again, I have no problem paying but suggest that gentleman might try to speak more kindly to your customers and not be so rude.

Location was very convenient, walking distance to top restaurants and short drive for other conveniences. Room and bed were very comfortable and well-maintained. Bathroom nicely stocked. The balcony and windows that open a big plus. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Big plus having bar and restaurant on-site, although see next comments for food. Very nice artwork throughout.

Bathrobe to go to the pool would be nice. Restaurant prices very high for mediocre food. Over-priced food, not very good.

The view was awesome and the room was very nice. The beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food on the menu seemed overpriced so we did not eat at the hotel. Our TV also had some issues, but that may have been with the network and not the hotel.

The location is far enough so you can relax without being spotted bit close enough to home in DMV area. This is a little secret place where you can go to relax, shop, and eat. Loved it.

Waterfront suites with balconies, great restaurant/bar, many other restaurants/bars within walking distance. Very lovely!

Sea birds decorated my car quite completely with their… biological confetti. No fault of the hotel, but you may want to be aware of this possibility.

The location was modern, clean, attractive. LOVED the waterfront views. The staff was warm, professional and very helpful. Food in the restaurant was great. Will definitely come again!

Only complaint is lack of room service. It was fine to go down to the restaurant this time. But I like the option of not having to get dressed and engage with folks when I don't want to.

Food was delicious here! I ordered to take to my room and it was easy. Loved walking by the boats and out to the water. Loved sitting areas! Loved friendly staff! Beds were comfy. Felt safe here. Liked area-

Put white noise machine in room! Easy! Road noise from Rt 301 was very present when outside! No fan in bathroom! View from room wasn’t great.

The view was beautiful. And the room was very comfortable for our stay.

There was no warning prior to our visit that the pool and gym were under construction. Bar and restaurant were closed both nights. Breakfast was not a good value. Elevator doors close too quickly for my handicap aunts.

The front desk staff is wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, responds quickly and always professional. Ken and Tim are exceptional staff that deserve recognition. The view from my room was incredible. We were located on the Marina side.The location is in walking distance to several good seafood restaurants.

The thing I struggled with was trying to use my Honors app to select my room. Because I struggled I missed getting a room on the Bay side which we would have preferred. I ended up calling the hotel directly in order to get a room on any water side.
