St. Michaels Inn

The St. Michael's Inn was very close to downtown St. Michaels. The property was beautifully kept and the rooms were spacious and affordable. The bed was super comfy, the rugs felt freshly shampooed, and everything we needed for a short, 2-night stay in the area was available to us. We were happy to have time to swim in the clean, refreshing pool. The staff were very friendly and checked on us more than once when we were on the property to ensure our comfort. Very nice place that I would go to again.

Not a complaint but we should have asked for another pillow or two.

I liked its availability. The front desk staff was polite and professional. The room was clean. The breakfast was simple and sufficient. The pool looked clean and fun though we weren’t able to use it due to our schedule.

The mattresses were fine but not at all plush. The toilet was very low. And there was no elevator to the 2nd floor for carrying luggage. There were some loud arrivals at night while we were trying to sleep. Wondered if it was because we seemed to have no staff around. We were in the back wing.

fabulous value in a well cared for and updated motor inn. Special touches can be seen across the property- tasteful decorations, healthy plantings, well placed outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was impeccably clean, and while the bath/shower was a bit older, I suspect it is on the list to be updated as the rest of the facility seemed to be. It is located a little too far out of town to be walkable, but biking would be an easy option. we expect to be back!

there was nothing at all we didn't like. ok, since I have to write three sentences, I suppose the brand of coffee could be bumped up. but it was good enough to drink 2 cups, so this is really a stretch.

People were so friendly and nice. Great location and we felt safe. Pool was so clean and refreshing.

Not having housekeeping for a 3 night stay was inconvenient. Trash. Towels. Toiletries. Also, we like to keep a light on at night. It was impossible to keep the bathroom light on without that loud and obnoxious fan. After the first day, it really became annoying. If we kept any other light on, it kept my husband awake.

We liked how close to town the location is and our room was clean and comfortable. Being able to park outside the door was great. Very nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, and hash browns, pastries and juice and coffee. We will definitely return.

Unfortunately, they were having a problem with their well and the water stank terribly which they apologized for and explained. The rooms hvac sounded like a jet taking off every ten minutes all night long but we dealt with it and it wasn't so bad for one nights stay.

this is my fave place to stay in St Michael’s… every year i visit… perfect location just outside of town… cute rooms well kept… tremendous value…

this is the first time i’ve had a major problem and it was the water… it smelled horrible, like sewage smell… could not take a shower or brush my teeth… had to go to local store and buy water… unacceptable. the staff didn’t really seem to care… they’re a very ambivalent bunch.. i hope this issue is fixed by next time

Very clean for being an "Inn". Room was clean, location is close to town, staff was accommodating (let me have a later check out since I was participating in the St Michaels race.

The water has a TERRIBLE smell. One of the staff members knocked on my door at 11:07am asking if we were checking out even after I confirmed via email the day before that we could check out at 12.

St Michael's Inn while a throw-back to the motor court motels of prior decades, the owners and staff have maintained this property in an exemplary fashion- rooms are so clean, well appointed and the inn is just a mile from St Michael's. My friends and I always stay here when we visit in December for St. Michael's Midnight Madness event.

My only critique- we were leaving early Sunday morning and first to arrive at the breakfast room. Breakfast was very good. But, while the inn in general took COVID precautions with masking in the public spaces, the mask requirement did not seem to be inforced in the dining room, with guest or the couple of staff members I saw. I was glad we were the first to arrive and get our food before other unmasked guests arrived!

My room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the refrigerator and microwave were nice. The receptionist made my check in easy. She also referred me to an excellent local restaurant. Breakfast was ready at 7 which made it easier to get to my destination in town. I had a dog with me and there was plenty of room to walk the dog on the property.

Love the friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast great..7 am start. So nice to have cheerful staff to greet you. Staff will help with any questions, even where to buy cheapest gas! This was my second visit, and I had requested a ground floor room which wouldn’t require a long walk to breakfast, office, and was given same room twice. 😊 I will return!
