Liz was wonderful, the location perfect, and the breakfast exceptional.
"didn't like" is too strong, but I do wish there was a tub mat for the bathroom floor - the tile is slippery when your feet are wet. Also, it's difficult to fully dry off after a shower with just one bath towel; anyone with hair below their ears pretty much needs to wrap their heads, and a hand towel isn't big enough to do the job.

Great historic B&B on the main street in St. MIchaels. As a historic house, you will not get all the bells and whistles of a brand new modern hotel but that is why you are staying here and not a new facility, yes? Also walls between rooms are a bit thin but again the people who stay here know/understand that and so your fellow guests are not going to be creating a lot of unnecessary noise. To me the historical atmosphere wins out over these smaller considerations but if that is not the case for you then... better to stay somewhere else.

Staff was great and the breakfast was homemade every morning and very yummy, they even have DVDs if you want to watch a movie, bring a book and read on the shaded patio.
Just remember when you visit ,St. Michaels the town closes at 6 and if you do want to go out to dinner make reservations in advanced.

There was an issue with the water heater, but both the Inn Keeper and owner stepped up and took care of it ASAP. Well handled.

There was only one chair in the room, that's not good for 2 people. When the people in the room above walked the floor squeaked loud into our room.

The two breakfast were both excellent the innkeepers menu were tasty and perfectly proportional. Also very attentive. Glad we got to spend it there and definitely would hesitate to do it again!
