Sleep Inn Columbia Gateway

Location was great with many restaurants nearby. Also hotel gives flyers of restaurants who delivers food. Rooms were neat and clean and beds were verycomfortable. Staffs were friendly and hotel was secured, so unauthorized people won't be able to get inside the building.

Even though smoking is not allowed, but sometimes I could smell weed in the hallway of entrance. Breakfast menu could have been little better.

Nice staff, great value, convenient location

It would have been nice to have some little bit of protein for the breakfast, but I understand that's harder to keep fresh in stock and the hotel didn't seem super busy. It would also be nice if they turned on the heaters for rooms that are booked before guests arrive. The room was pretty cold when I got in and took a long time to heat up. Anyway, these are just little things. It was a safe and comfortable stay.

Air freshener needs to be spread after every room cleaning or ask the customer while making reservation; if need an air freshener in his or her room. Also breakfast should have some cook proteins examples steam eggs, turkey or pork beacons and corn beef. Lot of customers don’t eat boiled eggs.

The housekeeping staff did a great job. I appreciated having my room cleaned and freshened daily during my 8 day stay. The front desk person who handled breakfast was efficient and quick to help.

The breakfast was boring, with the same few choices every day.

After reading many bad reviews (after booking), myself & my husband were anticipating a rotten place that we paid through the nose for - BOYS were we pleasantly surprised !! The Sleep Inn is spotlessly clean - the staff were fantastic and the room was great. We were on the 3rd floor. Room was overlooking the front entrance/car park. Beautifully clean - spotless bed linen - tv - mini fridge - microwave - coffee maker - ice bucket & cups. Bathroom with lovely clean fresh towels, face cloths, floor mat, tissues, 2 x t.p., 2 x soaps, shampoo, conditioner & body lotion. Water pressure is good. A/C. Breakfast in a bag from reception consisting of an apple, bottle of water, fruit bar & pastry. Tea/coffee & juice available from original breakfast area just off foyer.

Pillows are half the size of a normal standard pillow thus making them look like squares. Hubbie found them adequate - I personally found them useless & went to get my neck pillow from car for neck support. Mattress, as others have said was firm. Hubbie found it a bit too uncomfortable and I'm not at all sure if I was uncomfortable because of the mattress or useless pillows. Suffice it to say we both needed pain relievers in the morning.

Hotel is located along the main drag of Route 1 in Jessup, close to all major shopping areas and industrial buildings. I have stayed at this location in the past, and every time I was in a non-smoking room there was still a lingering odor, however this time there was NO odor! Room was incredibly clean, bathrooms spotless!

Turning left out of the hotel during the morning rush is a bit dodgy, but can be easily remedied by turning right onto Rt. 1 and turning into the shopping center on the right at the light to turn around.

The friendly staff. They didnt give me any crap about not wearing a mask. I don't wear them. Period. Niether will I ever give up my medical information in the future in return for staying at your hotel. I also enjoyed how so many people staying there were going to the same event I was, The M3 Rock Festival.

The bagged breakfast. Nothing in it except for the water is what I would have chosen. The apple was ok, but I'm picky about my apples. I like gala apples. I'm also not a fan of those tiny pillows.

I stayed there because I couldn't afford to stay in Washington. The place is pretty bice, but it is takes about an hour to get to Washington, which is way more than I expected.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy . Check in and out wà super simple . We had a abundance amount of towels a microwave and a mini fridge .

The pillows was super small and flat. The hallway smelled like weed. We had a non smoking room and could smell the smoke through the door which was disgusting.

I really enjoyed the staff. They were pleasant an very helpful. The facilities were very clean and relaxing.I will be returning to visit.

Everything was great.
