Holiday Inn Express and Suites West Ocean City, an IHG Hotel

overall very nice property.

The front desk clerk. Jeff did not read notes in system and basically told I was incorrect regarding my request for early check in as I was attending a wedding that Day WHICH WAS WRONG. He tried to make me think I did not speak with Hotel front Desk which was wrong as I Spoke to Agent the next day who confirmed our conversation and her Notes in system. In addition alot of Dogs @ Hotel which affected my Allergies

I liked the convenient location in West Ocean City, Maryland as I was spending my time more in West OC than in Ocean City itself. However, to get to Ocean City, it was only a ten-minute drive with moderate traffic, so it was a great location for me and my needs. Easy access to harbor restaurants, Assateague Island, Clothing outlets, grocery stores, childrens activities (go-karts, mini golf) etc.

No 4 cup coffee makers with glass pots, the small one cups made of plastic taste like plastic! And Just the bottom part of the shower needs grout cleaning and new caulk

The location was great! Once Chad, the friendliest front desk manager, moved us to a better room with water pressure, it was much nicer. Chad went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Beds were nice once you got into them, being short was definitely a challenge to get in the bed.

The first room had low water pressure. If breakfast was a little bit longer it would be nice. I didn't like that you had to bring your towels to the front desk to get new towels.

The staffs were very nice and respectful, the only problem was that there was not enough wash cloths and you have to bring your dirty laundry up to the front desk after use because people are taking them apparently, but overall my stay was great,food was pretty good alot of choices to choose from.

Not having to wait 2 to 3 hours for wash cloths and towels. Every time I go to the front desk for wash cloths and towels they ran out but yet I'm constantly bringing my dirty laundry so they could wash the wash cloths and towels it was very much annoying and unprofessional but I did understand the staffs saying about the taking the wash cloths and towels but overall my stay was great.

The employees were very pleasant. The location was what we wanted.

The room could have a chair to sit on other than the desk chair. The room was not ready by check in at 3:00. Room service was only 1 day. If you wanted a change of towels, you had to bring them to the desk to receive clean ones. I went on vacation so I wouldn't have to make the bed and clean the room each day. I know help is hard to fine with COVID but some where in the description of the room it should be stated about cleaning the room and the towel situation.

The gentleman who took care of the breakfast bar was unapproachable and quite rude . He made you feel like you bothered him by offering you the breakfast which was included in your stay. At first we thought it was just a mood one day out of the five days of our stay it continued on. We would definitely give him A poor performance review and as far as the selection it was good due to the Covid restrictions.

The staff who ran the breakfast bar was quite rude as we said in the previous comment. Everyone else from the front desk to the cleaning staff housekeeping was amazing. Could not say more especially about the night front desk worker who was personable and just lovely.

The bathroom was not very clean the hallway next to our room had what looked like throw up on the carpet and was never cleaned the whole time we were here but other than that it was fine also I was told breakfast was till 10 am and we went down at 9:20 and everything was gone also in the lobby hallway was another fresh pile if what looked like puke and way to many dogs I didn't know they allowed dogs and One was in the room next to us and was barking to much and in the lobby to different people with dogs the dogs were fighting when we were trying to go out

The beach was only a mile away stores and shops were close. Food were close a lot of good restaurants and a lot of activity was available like the family race car shop. We enjoyed our self will do it again maybe next year

For me, everything was OK had no problems

Clean hotel. Close to downtown Ocean City, shopping, restaurants. Offering a few more food choices at their included breakfast.

There was no hot coffee/tea/hot chocolate available except for the breakfast hours till 9am. I also didn't like that someone started to enter our room and then was surprised that we were still in the room and then proceeded to ask what time we were leaving. It was only around 9:30 in the morning and checkout is 11 am. I talked with the front desk clerk and she said that should not have happened...That just is not cool!

the night desk clerk Friday night 3/10 was absolutely amazing they helped us out a lot once we got into our room. we had an incident with the shower getting our bathroom floor soaked and they went out of their way to get us towels and make sure we were taking care of
