Best Western Clare Hotel

I don't think I'm the best judge for continental breakfast setup here in the US, as I have been spoiled rotten from Asia, buffets and chefs on call is probably not something that takes place here. However, you can make your own oats, cereal, and waffle. A defective juice dispenser, probably instant, but a functional kitchen nonetheless.

Nothing much really, whatever they have gets the job done. Perhaps if there is something, it would be more protein options. Then again, for us, all we needed was a clean and proper room and friendly staff and they truly delivered. I noticed other hotels in the vicinity have a pool.

The room was super clean, even the floors. The beds were very comfortable and each bed had 4 pillows to choose from that were very comfortable as well. Continental breakfast was adequate, waffles, cereal, breads, etc. coffee. etc.

The tv remote was hard to use even though they replaced the batteries. I guess I just couldn't figure out how to maneuver thru the guide. The tv itself was a good tv. Also missed not having a microwave, but not real important.

I liked that the hotel has been newly remodeled. Everything looks so fresh and clean. Our room was absolutely wonderful!

My slight issue was, that the shower walls hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. There was half and some grim left behind. But everything else was so nice I'm almost certain it was an oversight. They also needed a few more parking spots if possible. We were able ro find a spot but due to others not parking correctly, it made it difficult.

The staff was super helpful and courteous. Everything was clean the bed was comfortable. I like that the Soaps and shampoos were environmentally friendly. The continental breakfast was standard with eggs and cereal toast fruit but they also had waffles! I wish there was a breakfast meat to choose from

Stayed at Best Western Clare, Mich. The twin sister ( cleaning attendants) A special thanks goes to them. We a wanted to tip them but was not sure if they would receive it because was sure if they was working Sunday (8-5-21) morning. Do like the shower body wash they use there. Will return when we are back in the area. Yes the staff was as excellent in there duties as well. I was I could remember the ladies names.I hope this business APPRECIATE and RESPECT there Staff. U can't find people that are there and have the respect for their caring staff.

The room was huge and well worth the money.

People at the front desk didn't seem to know much about anything. The fan in the bathroom was the loudest and ever heard in my life. The plugs next to the bed didn't charge anything overnight so when I woke up all my electronics were dead

The room was big, breakfast was really good. We just bought a new motorcycle and the staff suggested we park the trailer under the awning since a snow storm was coming in, to protect the bike from the snow. Also the bathtub was big and great for a hot bath.

The only thing I wish they had was an indoor pool.

The location was great for accessing the CMU graduation. The breakfast offerings were not as good as other hotels we have stayed at but they were adequate. This would be why we gave a 9.

Breakfast offering - how can you offer eggs but no bacon or sausage to go with them?

Bathtub needs grippy stuff and toilet paper was quite the distance from the toilet. Lol good thing I have long arms. And bathroom needs brighter lights. Everything else was perfect😊

the entrance was hard to see initially. The location was excellent

Bathroom fan is too loud and it would ne nice to have a light switch in bathroom as well as switch for fan so both do not need to be on at once
