Red Roof Inn Kalamazoo East – Expo Center

Every employee I met was very nice and polite and helpful. The room - though small - was very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the exceptional bedding and the mattress was amazing. The vanity sink - also shiny clean and the hot water and water pressure in the shower also exceeded my expectations. Great variety for cable stations offered. The desk, office chair, desk lamp was perfect because I actually brought some work with me. Great room!

The location next to the Expo Center was not ideal. I would book the other Red Roof in Kalamazoo if possible. A lot of people and a lot of traffic. But of course - this location would be ideal for people attending events.

My room was comfortable, clean and nicely laid out. The staff was super friendly and helpful, I felt safe and well taken care of during my stay.

There were a lot of people there for the big dog show. That is the reason I was there. I arrived a day prior to the beginning of the show. When I brought my dog out to the large area to potty her, the grassy area had been freshly mowed. Unfortunately there was so much old dog poop that it was like walking through a field of land mines. I am very particular about picking up what my dog leaves behind and it really saddened me that people could mess up such a beautiful area with their laziness. This in no way is a mark against the Red Roof Inn, it is cause by disrepectful people.

our bed coverings had cigarette holes in them, room did smell like it was a smoking room and neither of us smoked; we could not get clean towels or face clothes for our second day as we did not get housekeeping to come in(room did not need to be serviced) and when we returned to room it was 5:50pm and housekeeping closed at 5pm.

The location was great, the bed was great, everything was clean there was actually a microwave and a refrigerator which was nice. And I loved that they pretty much had a yard in the front that had a doggie poop bag station that was awesome.

My only complaint, is the floors would get a little dirty from the walking in and out but it did rain like the whole time we were there, and there never seems to be enough towels, ever, at any hotel really.

The young lady who checked me in was so friendly and helpful.

I was blocked in on both sides of my van I had to climb through my back to get the front seat because I couldn't open my doors.

Clean and decent room

The fire alarms are very sensitive. I made some food for my kids and the air fry set the whole building off. And the fire department will show up!!!

Staff was very friendly.

The floor in our room was laminate, so any amount of water or moisture made them extremely slippery. I almost fell a few times.

My shower wouldn’t drain correctly. I did call, maintenance was supposed to fix it, but they didn’t.
