Hampton Inn & Suites Kalamazoo-Oshtemo

The size of the room was more then we expected. The breakfast was definately a big plus. The small C Store by the office helped for those little "ooops we forgot something" issues.

The pool and spa were closed and under construction while we were there and I don't recall seeing that anywhere during the booking process. The driveway is in serious need of repair. I think if I'd have come in at night and not seen the pot holes I'd be paying for tire repairs on my rental car.

For a Covid event breakfast, it was pretty good. The hot portion was a food service sourced Denver omelet, served hot. Additional items were packaged oatmeal, which they gave you a container of hot water, a container to mix it in and a spoon. They also had packaged yogurt and muffins. There wasn't any toast, just like everywhere else I've stayed lately. Not sure what's up with that. Coffee was good as well. Staff was easy to communicate with and well versed with current protocols. The room did not have a fridge, which surprised me. Apparently fridges are not available at the price point we booked at. When I asked about the availability of a fridge, the front desk, Emma, offered a solution.

I wish the pool was open, but the state had issued a mandate closing all pools and the hotel was merely following instructions. Oh well. Other than that, it was a good stay. I like the Hampton chain and feel that they offer a good value for the buck.

Booked it in a pinch. It was clear that they had taken a lot of extra precautions in terms of health and safety due to covid. The room was VERY clean and I felt safe the entire time. The bed was really comfortable and they provided plenty of towels. Literally the only downside was that the ice machine didn't work on the 3rd floor where I was staying. Definitely exceeded my expectations for an unexpected work trip, but I would stay again.

The facility is getting old a few upgrades to the hallway, rooms furniture. Its bn taken care of well and its just time for some new models styles. But the hotel runs extremely well and was very comfortable

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Mattress was a little soft but nothing that caused a problem.

Room next to me had their TV on all night so my last nights sleep wasn't really good. Elevator floors needed cleaned.

The hot tub was broke but they were having it repaired The manager was working very hard and was very nice

The hole place felt like home
