Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Munising

Great location, as a sort of central hub to traveling to different places in Munising and in the greater U.P. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice, clean rooms. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Walls were a little thin, so we heard some of the other residents from next door from time to time. Like many places these days, there was no in-stay housekeeping service, which can be a challenge when you are staying for multiple days. However, they were helpful in providing us with extra towels and trash bags when requested. Nice swimming pool, but unfortunately we were disappointed to see the hot tub was not working.

unfortunately rooms being not done everyday is standard now days in most hotels , it is a service our family truly miss and is the reason we choose to go to hotels ( clean sheets, beds made everyday, clean carpet, bathroom ect) , instead of camping. I understand the beds are not made everyday , so is the cleaning , but it would have been nice to have someone come in sometime during our stay to replace the toileteries , leave us some clean towels , and empty the garbages. We stayed 4 nights.

this was our first time at a Boulders Inn. The staff was amazing the service great. I asked for extra shampoo and conditioner the maid took 1 look at my long hair and gave me more than I thought she would but just what I needed. The pool here was extra big and so nice and clean and open late. the hot tub was nice too, but that big nice pool. Told my grandson when I grow up I want one just like it. The gift shop in the lobby was nice too. I don’t partake but the bar open in the evenings for guests that do was nice. Also guest laundry for those like us who swam every night.

No elevators , if any thing could improve that would be it.

Breakfast was very good, and it varied from day to day on the hot bar items. Good variety of choices...toast, different kinds of muffins, english muffins; different types of cereals & oatmeal; yogurt; donut holes; apples & oranges; fresh waffles; egg patties & sausage patties one day...next day was biscuit & sausage gravy and scrambled eggs. Coffee, milk, apple juice, orange juice. Everything I had was very good! The room was very clean and comfortable. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We liked they had longer hours for the pool, and there was a computer and printer available, where we were able to print our tickets for a boat ride the next day. We would highly recommend Boarders!

At breakfast, waffles were very popular, so there was a hold up at that station, but nothing to complain about.

Great location! Super ideal. Everything was within a 15-minute drive and Pictured Rocks was within 45 minutes. Super accessible. There were a decent amount of restaurants in the area. Everything I needed was within a 15-minute drive. The hotel room itself was very clean, and everything worked correctly. Breakfast was delicious and it seemed like they open early and closed the breakfast area later than most hotels. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was on the first floor facing the parking lot so we were not able to open the curtains without everyone seeing into our hotel room. That was not ideal at all. Especially since there's not much lighting in the hotel room; it would've been nice to have the additional natural lighting. Lastly, the breakfast area is quite small and gets very busy quickly. I would recommend waking up early for breakfast or you won't have any where to sit.

Everything. Easily one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Room was nice. Bed was great. Amount of outlets were awesome. Big and nice TV, fridge, & microwave. Nothing to complain about the room whatsoever. There was even 2 extra pillows already in the room! Hot all you can eat breakfast was perfect. Also the bar was reasonably priced, like country bar prices at a hotel is a very nice surprise. Plus we had the opportunity to win a free drink!

No elevator and of course our room was on the second floor haha. Price was a little high, but what isn't nowadays....

Very happy with the location and the front desk employees were all very nice, one younger guy in particular was very helpful giving us a map with several dinner ideas that he was personally familar with. The room was clean and comfortable.

We were on the 2nd floor, and sadly there were not elevators. I wish it would have been asked if there were physical ailments that cause use of stairs to be difficult.

Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom looked so clean. In fact, my wife actually took a bath there (that's very uncommon) Staff was insightful of things to do in the area and were spot on with the food recommendations. Breakfast was good, variety for each morning there was nice. Not just the same thing every morning.

Only downfall was the hot tub was out of order

The staff were awesome. I have never felt so welcomed and at home. They were very informative about the surroundings as far as restaurants and waterfalls!

That the hot tub wasn't up and running. Nothing better after alot of walking and cold weather, but to relax in a soothing hot tub!

Housekeeping was wonderful. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Left an electronics behind. They found it and will send it back to us. Pool and hot tub could have been warmer. Hot food could have been hotter. Plenty of coffee and tea available. Very nice experience and would recommend to others.
