Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Munising Area

The room was very spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked well. I liked that the ice machine was near the room and had 24 hour access.

We could hear people talking in the next room and wondered if they could hear us as well as we heard them. We weren't saying anything that was "bad" but it was uncomfortable to think that someone might overhear everything. On the 3rd night of our stay, the people above us were very noisy. I realize there's nothing you can do about that. The bathroom had a sign that housekeeping was available by request only but one morning when we cam back from breakfast, someone had emptied the trash and refreshed towels and such in the bath. We were surprised and would have liked to know that this would happen. It was unexpected since we hadn't requested anything.

When we arrived the lady asked us if we want the 2 beds or is a king bed ok? I told her that we would prefer a king bed! :-) The people were very friendly. The location was great. It was nice size and the sitting area was in a great location. It was almost like having 2 rooms.

The breakfast didn't have any eggs or meat. The pool and hot were not open. This was a large disappointment because it would have been nice after all the hiking. The room was run down, but it was ok. The people above us were very loud and sounded like they were going to come through the floor, but that isn't the hotels fault.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was amazing. It was so easy to jump back to the room to change after hiking our hanging out at the beach and then right back to downtown to eat or explore. The outside entrance made it easy to go back and forth to the car and hanging wet clothes outside the room was a breeze.

The facilities could've been updated but for the price was exactly what I expected. The beds were a bit too soft/worn in but definitely not uncomfortable. And the AC had a tough time keeping up but we didn't come for the AC, we came for nature.

I loved that the young lady at the desk when we arrived was ready to show us places to go, circled things on the map she got for us, places we probably shouldn't go expense wise, and she was just friendly!

Wished for some bacon or sausage in the breakfast. Was still good!

Breakfast was really really nice to have. Staff was friendly and the room was bigger than we needed but all in all very nice hotel.

The staff didn't know how to print out my receipt. I was in a hurry and they said that they would email it to me. I never received it. That's my only complaint. Everything else was fine. The price was a bit high but maybe that's because we were in a tourist area and the pool, which we were really looking forward to, was not open. Don't you get a discount for that?

The hotel is a 5 min drive from Munising. The morning sky view is great. The rooms and beds are comfortable. They don't have family rooms yet because they are still in upgrade mode.

Wifi range is not good. They have continental breakfast but minimal options. Overall stay was good.

Pleasantly surprised how nice everything was... wasn't expecting breakfast so that was awesome! Also the fridge in the room was amazing

Wish we would've known the pool and hot tub was closed... not a big deal since Lake Superior was right there

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. The staff accommodated our request for first floor and two rooms next to each other. We’ve stayed there twice in two weeks and will stay again in the future. The room was very large and nice.

The room was very clean, and was huge. The breakfast was very limited for people who have dietary restrictions.

The breakfast could have had more options.

Large comfortable room! Refrigerator with freezer, and microwave. Great newer air conditioner! Good breakfast. Very good for families.

The doors to the room swell in this summer weather and stick when opening and closing.
