Comfort Inn & Suites Munising - Lakefront

My kids loved the waffles and muffins for breakfast. It was right on the water and had a beautiful back patio area. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and provided maps for town and the hiking trails. The location was ideal to get to all the activities in Munising and just a short drive to all the attractions and hiking trails in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

We were disappointed there was no pool especially for the high price. Would have liked to have Nutella available at the breakfast bar. The toilet paper holder was too far from the toilet and my 8 year old could not reach it.

The hotel is very clean...The staff is very kind and welcoming... The complimentary breakfast and eating area indoor/outdoor are amazing... The Lakeview room was so relaxing especially with the private balcony area... Hotel is located in a very peaceful area with quick, easy access to Munising... The outdoor sitting areas were so relaxing and being able to sit near the seawall was worth every penny alone (maybe only 60-70' to the lake from the hotel back doors)... Room was very clean, comfortable, and good quality... This hotel is newer and the wooden construction makes the noise travel very easy (hearing alot of walking and talking at times)... Plus they offer an easy to view map of many important locations... Very happy that I chose this location and I highly recommend it !!

We arrived on the wrong date! The staff was very helpful in finding us a room down the road and in correcting our reservations. I'm sorry I didn't get the young man's name, but he was very kind about the mix-up! We really enjoyed having the back door with the lovely lawn overlooking the lake.The location was very convenient, near restaurants, hiking, the beach and other activities. We did a kayaking trip with Pictured Rocks Kayaking, which was great.

If you want to go hiking on Grand Island, be sure to bring your Deep Woods Off for the mosquitoes!

The location to the Pictured Rocks Boat Tours was excellent. We found a nice place to eat dinner where the food was great, the service was also very good, and the prices were not high, and it was just a few miles from Comfort Inn at Dogpatch. The view of the lake was great here and the breakfast was hot and filling.

The room was a little dusty - on the lamps, But the room overall was clean. I'm just a little fussy about cleanliness.

The young man that worked the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Met all our needs. Even provided a box fan for our room (for white noise) so we slept well. Had it waiting when we arrived.

Instant oatmeal. Real oatmeal for breakfast or use of microwave in breakfast area would be great.

Friendly staff. Wonderful table room overlooking Lake Superior. Comfortable room.

Room needed a place to hold a suitcase. No flat surface or folding suitcase holder in Room 306. Front desk said no rooms have this. I don't want my suit case open on the floor, so an entire bed became a suitcase holder. Breakfast offering was subpar, even with covid standards. We ended up having breakfast elsewhere, an unanticipated expense. Hallway corners are already getting damaged. Two months after opening and construction cutbacks / oversights are already affecting appearance of the facility. Niice monitor placement through the facility. Unfortunately, staff was unable to correct large action message over streamed content. Configuration needs to be adjusted to prevent the timeout message.

the sunsets are awesome here. I would stay this is one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. Floors were clean and so were the carpets. Breakfast was ample and the overall staff pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. A little pricey but it was a holiday weekend.

There was nothing about this place, other than we got in late and the room was at 61. No other complaints. Perfect place

Breakfast was 'ok', warmed up frozen foods, yogurt, fruit, bread, and waffle maker. T.J. was a great help! Staff was great. Rooms were clean and quiet. Balcony had a great view of lake.

No pool! Laundry room - need new machines. Shower leaked.

Everything except the loose toilet.

Our toilet was loose from the floor. I notified the front desk and said we could tolerate it for our one night. He said it would be taken care of and thanked me. Housekeeping should have noticed that it was loose from the previous stay.

I love how it was so close to the downtown area. We did the pictured rocks tour and I surprised by how close it was. The room was nice and the staff were friendly.

The elevator doors didn't stay open very long at all. They closed on us several times, quite forcefully.
