Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rochester South Mayo Clinic

Often unable to find a staff member for help, as they all were outside smoking. Would make more sense for 1 person to stay behind to manage the font desk. There was a wad of chewed gum stuck to the side of the night stand. Should have easily been noticeable by housekeeping.

I booked 2 rooms for myself and three friends. our stay was enjoyable, staff were very helpful. Bob, the security and handyman went above and beyond helping. He even lead us to the fuel station and gave directions for the best route out of town! Our rooms were very clean. My bed was very firm and comfortable. I do prefer a Firm pillow top mattress. I would definitely stay again.

The Hot tub was not operational. Having a jacuzzi was one of the reasons we booked this hotel.

The staff was GREAT! I love that you are dog friendly. I will definitely recommend to stay here to family and friends.

I was hoping that the shuttle was a direct shuttle between the hotel and Mayo Clinic. I ended up having to take UBER to get back because otherwise I would have had to wait a hour to be picked up and an additional half hour to get dropped back at the hotel. Also because I had to be picked up at 6:10am by the time I got back at 10am the FREE Breakfast was already done. Maybe extending out the time or offering something for certain circumstances. Also adding "gluten free" options.

I stayed three nights. The fee per night was $85.20 including tax. That would be $255.60. I purchased misc. items at the cost of $6.00 plus $10.25. The total fee should be $271.85. On my credit card I was charged $277.34. That is an over-charge of $5.49. If you could credit my credit card for this over-charge, I would be greatly pleased. My wife had surgery at Mayo Clinic on 7/23. The first night we stayed together. The second and third night I stayed alone as my wife was in the hospital. Thank you very much! The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

Beds were not made up by housekeeping daily. Bathroom toiletries were not stocked, we had to ask for soaps. Breakfast ended at 10 on the weekend but 9 during the week? Needs to be consistent daily.

We had a bad experience at Days Inn (long story) and we found a room at Microtel at the last minute. After the filthy Days Inn it was heaven to walk in to a clean, fresh smelling lobby. I told the clerk how much I appreciated it and mentioned the trouble we had had. She was very helpful and kind. The hallways were clean and fresh, rooms were great. There was a hair in the shower. One hair. That's my only complaint. I will definitely stay here again! Thanks so much for turning a nightmare into sweet dreams!

cleanliness, convenience, quiet, friendly staff. As a former GM of a Choice Hotels property I really appreciate how clean and friendly the property is. Housekeepers do wonderful jobs. I always go through the entire room before relaxing, checking for cleanliness and items that could be missed by Housekeeping; this room was spotless! Keep up the wonderful work!

Nothing. this is a very nice property and was a pleasure to stay in.

This property is managed better than the North property. Every thing was very clean and the staff very welcoming. I didn't partake in the breakfast offerings. I come to Mayo Clinic to work and stay in hotels prior to going home to Wisconsin. This has proven to be more economical. This hotel is worth the stay when I just need 1 or 2 nights. Highly recommend. Any out-of-towners, you are close to Target South, Caribbou, Fleet Farm as well as other stores including a movie theatre!

I was there for medical at Mayo clinic for my eyes the three ladies working morning afternoon and night shift we're excellent and so caring always asked if we needed anything is there anything they could do to help and this has been that way every time we have came to stay in this has been our fourth stay for mayo clinic at the hotel

I was greeted with a smile from the gentleman that checked me in. He explained where and when breakfast would be served, let me know the pool would be available within 30 minutes, and was friendly. I stay at hotels often and it was very nice to have great customer service.

There was nothing that I didn't like.
