Baymont by Wyndham Shakopee

Best part of our stay was the breakfast and we would book again if I knew the breakfast employee we had was going to be there. This gentlemen Warren was taking care of the breakfast area by himself. I could not believe as I watched him cooking, serving, stocking plates, silver wear, filling the batter for pancakes and more. When not doing this he moved through every guest to ask how breakfast was and if there was anything more he could do. All this while cleaning tables and sanitizing breakfast bar area. I was impressed to say the least. Our food was hot and taste good for a continental breakfast. Warren Rocks!

Staff was very friendly and willing to work with the requests we had put in when booking. We had requested an early check in due to the health issues of our dog and the staff was willing to accommodate when we arrived. Upon checking in I was made aware that they don't normally allow early check ins so we are extremely appreciative and grateful that they were willing to let us do so. It allowed us to start our trip on a stress-free note and enjoy the family vacation :) The continental breakfast was also good! The cook made sure everyone enjoyed their meal and was very friendly when interacting with guests as well :)

The walk out to the pool the pool the area surrounding the pool the hot tub the breakfast the breakfast the location.... The connected sit-down restaurant how close it is to valley Fair and the casinos as well as family and restaurants.... And one of the most important aspects was the price of the rooms and availability in the staffs willingness to make our stay very well I eat changing rooms to get closer to where we prefer

The TV worked only 10% of the time.... it's not a brand spanking new hotel

booked two rooms and they were right next to each other with out having to request it. pool room and breakfast were very convenient and set up well. staff was all very friendly and helpful. all staff they have need a raise as they were all doing the work of more than one person.

rooms were obviously cleaned regularly but in need of a deep clean in some small corners. not enough staff to keep towels in pool stocked for the day or evening. all staff they have need a raise as they were all doing the work of more than one person.

Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I noticed the chlorine from the pool, but was not overwhelming. Would definitely stay there again. I enjoyed lunch and 2 for 1 drinks at the connected restaurant (forgot the name)

the bathroom needed some work,, otherwise the room was great. The "hallway maps" around the place are not quite accurate causing me to walk double to get to our room.

I like the atrium sit right outside my room door with a Jacuzzi

I didn’t like that the first room that they put me in the door didn’t lock and we didn’t realize it until we came back hours later that our door wasn’t locked and secure with their items in the room. But when I called the front desk and let her know she quickly took care of it and move me to another room. You can tell that the hotel is old in the inside of the rooms and it wasn’t the cleanest. I had to clean out the bathtub before I even showered hair everywhere

Breakfast, room, pool, and entry lobby, price and location.

Staff was the worst. The lady at the front desk kept getting irritated because i had to ask for a new key every time. But the key entry lock was broken or not working because the maintenence man confirmed

The first impression is always given at check in. The lady helping us was an absolute delight and very helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. The pool and hot tub area wasnt busy at all. The kids enjoyed it. Check out was a breeze and once again the lady helping (Darcy) was a delight.

we’ve stayed 3 times now rooms are nice and pool is fun and plan to come back the gentleman that makes the breakfast and is very friendly and can strike good conversation

pool could be a little warmer and the night clerk could be more friendly, had to have our cards reprogrammed 2 times and she seemed annoyed about it

it is a well maintained property, ideal location . All staff, Deb, Stephanie, Warner and others were so friendly and genuinely nice people. Breakfast each morning was hot and delish!!Room very clean, beds and pillows fabulous!!
