Hampton Inn & Suites Saint Paul Oakdale Woodbury

The breakfasts were very good. There were lots of choices for food. We liked the availability of the all day coffee pots and water. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We loved the layout of the room.

I didn't like the fact that you automatically added $20/ day for extras. I think that should be added as guests buy extras. I didn't like the fact that you had to request to have the room cleaned the night before. The one time I asked that they change our bed, it wasn't done and I had to ask again. They had the wrong fitted sheet on our bed and it kept coming off when we slept. The day I asked for the change, they came and gave us new towels but didn't do the bed, give us any soap or shampoo and didn't empty the wastepaper basket. We were there 6 days and I only asked for the change once. During the week I emptied our wastepaper baskets by myself in a trash can outside the hotel door.

Location was good. The breakfast was good.

We thought we had reserved a room with 2 queen beds and handicap accessible but when we got there it was a king bed and pull out couch. our daughter ended up paying for a separate room. Even though we were in a handicap room, there were absolutely zero safety bars around the toilet, only in the shower. very disappointed that it really wasn’t handicap accessible and also our daughter had to pay over $100 for an extra room.

Employees were kind and accommodating. Pool was lovely. Good workout facilities. Room was very clean and quiet. Convenient location. Some of the bedside outlets for phone charging did not function but we had enough outlets to charge our devices. Putting the remote in a bag is a great idea! Loved it!

The most wonderful woman was single handedly serving breakfast to a completely booked hotel. She did everything imaginable to try to accommodate guests despite running out of milk eggs and coffee. She specially baked oatmeal for us in the oven when it ran out and there was not a second crock to make it. PLEASE GET THIS WONDERFUL LADY SOME SUPPLIES!! This is not a walk in restaurant. Management knows how many guests are coming. Please provide adequate food for guests or do not advertise breakfast as an included service.

The bathroom was modern and has a spacious walk-in shower. Breakfast had lots of different options including a make your own waffle station. The room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge and microwave.

Only encountered three problems during our stay. Booked a king room and the fitted sheet didn't fit the bed. The ice machine on our floor was not working. We stayed on the fourth floor and the hallway was very cold compared to the lobby.

I loved how the front desk (especially Alex) was so tentative all the time. The bed was comfy. Everything was clean. The bathroom was very spacious. The room also stayed super cold, which we absolutely love!

Our room smelled really odd. Hot breakfast is only served on the weekends & you really only get 3 options (covid, i know). They charged more for our room than what booking.com had given us originally. The sheets also barely fit the bed, so you’ll have to fix the bed every time you get up in the morning.

Over all the room was nice and the staff were very friendly. They had a nice buffet breakfast and we were excited to see the pool open!

Bed was too hard and the bedding didn't fit the size of bed, it keep popping off. Walls are thin you can hear when other guest wake up or they set breakfast up.

The staff was amazing as usual. Dre and Cindy were fantastic. Excellent customer service with a smile! Room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast good as usual also. We will continue to stay here...

Seemed very clean and friendly staff. Comfortable beds.

We booked through Booking.com at a certain rate. Received an email from an employee at the hotel verifying our stay and the price. They charged us more than what we booked for and the price in the confirmation email from the actual hotel. When I questioned it they said they would “look into it”. Of course they never did. Beware of the price they charge!

Close to everything

The air conditioning smelt like a cat.. some of the other guests were really loud… one of the front desk ladies wasn’t professional ( younger lady )

Reason that I chose the Hampton Inn and Suits it was close to places that I needed see and I like the location of the facility in Woodbury.
