Hampton Inn Cape Girardeau I-55 East, MO

We have stayed at this location before. It’s the perfect stop on our way home from Gulf Shores. The staff is always friendly and helpful, it’s clean, feels safe, the pool is great, great amenities and location. We (mostly our kids) LOVE the cookies and milk in the evening. It’s becoming tradition to come down for cookies and milk and spend quality times reflecting on our awesome vacation.

There is nothing to not like. We love this hotel.

Breakfast was fine, except you used skim milk. Please change to whole milk. Skim does not help with cholesterol and really isn't as good for you as whole milk which also tastes better.

I don't like that Hampton has switched from individual bottles of shampoo, individual soaps, etc. I used to collect them and give to the homeless shelters. I certainly do understand why you did it, but to me it diminishes the experience a little.

the guy that checked me in was so so nice. just great personality. even the people who clean the rooms were awesome. it was an all around great experience. first time I’ve stayed in a place where the people who were working were actually having a good time. or at least didn’t make it your problem if they weren’t

Good choices for breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Sunday gravy was runny. The waste cans in the rooms are too small. I felt that the shelving for clothes was adequate for one, but very indadequate for two.

It was easy to get to and convenient to the activities we were doing.

We thought the rates were too high for a regular hotel room in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, especially for a small room like we had.

The manager that greeted us was kind, acted with urgency in getting us checked in, and was obviously very concerned that everyone who was in the area had what they needed. He appeared very committed to making sure things were taken care of. This was the 4th Hilton chain we'd stayed in for our family roadtrip, and was hands down the BEST experience we had in any hotel.

Hilton as a chain, in my experience, has uncomfortable beds.

Easy to get to. Near decent restaurants. the staff was amazing.

our room was narrow so it was hard for two people to get back and forth without someone needing to step aside. And we’re not obese, so it wasn’t an issue of us being too large. :)

Breakfast was fine, had the normal variety. Starting to run low but the staff refilled it right away. The location was good, easy to get to.

We were tired from traveling and happy to settle in.

The location was very good and we were able to tour Cape Giradeau and we had a good meal. The hotel met our expectations of the Hilton chain. It was clean, up to date, with a pleasant staff and the breakfast was good. We have decided that Hampton Inns are our choice while traveling.

The breakfast room location was fine. The staff person Denise helping in the breakfast room was phenomenal. She was very helpful and kind. We had quite a long conversation. .

There was no way to prop open the room door so that you could easily get luggage in-and-out the door
