New Victorian Inn & Suites Omaha

Two of my family members and I came to Omaha, NE for a wedding. When we arrived at the New Victorian, we were greeted by two gentleman at the Registration Desk. They where professional, friendly and very helpful! Breakfast was from 6-9 am. They had Biscuits & Gravy, 3 types of Cereals, Bagels & Cream Cheese, Toast, Coffee, Milk, Orange Juice, Apple Juice and you could make your own Waffles! Everything was fresh, tasted great and the area was very clean! I am forever grateful to Todd, who works the Registration Desk (among other things and he was one of the gentleman who greeted us at the Registration Desk) and Seth, one of the Maintenance Employees! I was frazzled and had a lot on my mind that weekend. On Fri. afternoon, I accidentally locked my keys in my vehicle - a 2004 Toyota RAV4, which I have a key to unlock and to use to start the vehicle, not a Key FOB - and I mistakenly left it running for 3 hours! 😢 I didn’t realize this until it was time for my family and I to go to a function and I was looking for my keys! Believe me, I was sick to my stomach! 🥲 I went to the Registration Desk, and, long story short, Todd called Seth and after about 30 minutes of working hard, Seth was able to unlock my vehicle! Seth was patient and persistent! I was/am truly grateful! 👍 Our rooms were clean, quiet and we all slept very comfortably! I would definitely recommend the New Victorian Inn and Suites! 👍

The only thing I didn’t like is that we did not have wash cloths. But, I don’t blame the Inn! They have a laundry service that they use and the service did not supply the wash cloths. We made due using the hand towels. 😊

Water gets nice and hot and lasts! Bed was comfortable! Breakfast was OK. Always deals for cheaper than competitors. Quick access to interstate. Always a story to go home with.... well ya see there were some law enforcement hanging out last night... presumably due to Harry & Lloyd Rollin up on a lawnmower and a dirt bike. While Bubba changed his alternator in the parking lot. Or possibly it was the "working girl" who rode the elevator with me... she seemed nice, shifty eyes, no harm tho. She was probably just mething around. So the stays are always entertaining to say the least. 🤣

Sketch! Lots of interesting sorts of people around. As a female i wouldn't stay here alone. The AC units are junk. The 3rd time we stayed I ended up buying two fans which actually made a huge difference. Our room was hot as hell prior to putting a box fan on top of the ac unit. There is no exhaust venting in the bathroom. Hence the purchase of a second smaller fan. Towels always leave white fuzzy lint all over you after drying off.

Good location the staff seems a little bit overworked because they did give us a room at first that when we walked in had a TV going had food everywhere and had a bed that was unmade and it seemed to be already occupied didn't even walk fully into the room just close the door very quietly and went downstairs and informed the front desk guy sure I think there's somebody in that room because we went in there there's TV on the lights are on it sounds like somebody's taking a shower so just be aware of somebody else possibly being in the room before you go in if you stay here other than that it's pretty great place

There's a 50 dollar security deposit now because people suck and smoke in non smoking.rooms steal furnishings and destroy property ..... Parking lot has some danger danger sized potholes too be careful

The room was comfortable and attractive. Everything was in order as expected. It was a good location for us to visit my mom who is in assisted living in LaVista. The property is obviously making improvements to its public areas, which is always a good sign. Restaurants were nearby, which was convenient.

I would have appreciated having some eggs at breakfast, rather than sausage and biscuits (though my husband liked those). Even having some boiled eggs available would have been nice. Some sausage links or bacon would have been a great addition as well.

It was inexpensive. pretty clean and had an awesome pool. They allowed our dogs with a deposit which was great!

When we checked in, the front desk associate told us to bring the puppies down to the pool and enjoy it. As soon as we did and started to have fun, another associate came down and told us they weren’t allowed in the pool. That ruined our entire evening. We drove 14 hours with the puppies to see our son, who is in the Air Force, and we weren’t allowed to use the amenities that we were told we could use.

Little dated in areas but they looked like they were in the process of updating. Our TV wasn’t working properly, went and reported to the desk, they said they’d come up to look and never did. but they were pretty swamped at the time

When i came in staff already knew who i was. Check in was nice and smooth. He went straight to my reservation and checked me. I Had to leave for a minute and my spouse was on his way. The staff, I am sorry i cant remember his name, held the key for him until.he arrived. I will be coming here again. The room was clean bed was very comfortable!!

Only thing was the tub and no trash cans in the rooms. Other than that it was great!

the room was nice and cozy. everything was good. breakfast was varied. cold cereal, bagels, cream cheese, waffles, toast, biscuits and gravy. orange and apple juice.

bathroom was pretty clean but they didn’t put the toilet seat down and clean it. it was really nasty. but understandably since maids have a lot of rooms to clean. missed 2 inches.

We had to leave about as soon as we checked in because my brother was in a serious car accident back home and the manager let us leave without charging us for the room for the three nights. Thank you so very much.

Because my brother was in a serious accident we had to leave and the staff's permission to let us leave without charging us could have been a little quicker. but we were thankful they let us go removing the charges from our credit card. Thank you very much.

Staff, expecially the man in the front whom was seemly always there was very kind, helpful and accommodating, and went above and beyond. Made the stay that much better! The rooms were large enough, it was in a great location. The beds were very comfortable! Very clean.

Only problem i had was the outdoor swimming pool not being open. It was due to having to refill and re-chemical the water. So unavoidable and I understood. Still would have been nice to have it available. Was reopened when I left.
