Staybridge Suites Omaha 80th and Dodge, an IHG Hotel

Accommodations were clean, spacious, and met our needs. The staff was professional, kind and helpful with one exception of the problem when we checked in. The location was great. We took several walks from the hotel to nearby shops, restaurants and just to sight see in the immediate neighborhood. The location was convenient to highways making travel to and from the hotel easy.

Be very cautious when checking in, especially in the evening. Front desk staff member was in a hurry to check us in. As a result, we were charged twice. Although the hotel cancelled one of the transactions, it took 3 full business days for the money to be returned to our account.

Staff was awesome! Beautiful hotel quiet room and location. Beds n pillows VERY comfortable. Outdoor sitting area was amazing + there was a grill!

☹️ The only bad thing I have to say is the cleanliness of our room 329. We went to pull out the sofa bed n there were stains on the cushion covers,move the cushions n lots of crumbs,open the bed fully n more crumbs. After a bit I went n sat in the chair by the night stand n with the window open sun shining on the dresser you could easily see the filth build up on the front of the dresser🤢

free laundry was nice, great location, friendly staff, the kitchen was nice and convenient

breakfast was somewhat lacking -- ran out of milk, juice -- items not avail over a few days, fitness room a/c was not working -- it was 84 degrees in the room, our key cards had to be reprogrammed 2 days in a row, the in room trash can was waaay to small for a room with a kitchenette, the pull-out sofa bed mattress was torn/missing foam chunks and had obvious staining, additionally there were no sheets for the sofa bed -- it really was icky.

Our rooms were clean. We had a two bedroom suite. The bedrooms were set up perfect for us. We had a corner suite so it was quiet. Good breakfast.

There are three beds in the two bedroom suite indicating several people will be staying but there is only a small couch in the living room. A small sectional would be nice for more seating.

Having a full kitchen was awesome. The fridge was big and there were plenty of dishes in the cupboard but not many pots and pans so we had to ask for more. The small dishwasher was great. The breakfast was OK but extremely simple; there were breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg & cheese; sausage egg & cheese; etc.) and fruit, prepackaged muffins, coffee/juice/milk, and I think cereal or instant oatmeal was also available. The courtyard outside the back of the building was fantastic, with tables and chairs in the shade or sun to suit anyone's preference.

The floors are very thin so even though we were in a quiet area of the hotel, we could hear practically every footstep from the room above us. The first night was the worst, with the family arriving very late to the room above us and making a lot of noise for a long time.

2 bedroom 2 bath suite was perfect for our family and reasonably priced. Breakfast "buffet" was good and offered options to take with you as you traveled. It even included brown bags. We were there during the week, but I think the buffet would have more options on the week-end. This is the first time we have stayed at a Staybridge Suite and we will consider this chain the next time we travel.

We had a problem with our room keys working the entire time we were there. We had them re-set several times. The cleanliness of the linens on the beds were a little suspect.

The room was very nice. The location was great. The housekeeping staff and manager were awesome. I loved the layout of my room and the stainless steel appliances. I was very happy that the full size fridge was in fact full size! And the dishwasher was very quiet and effective. Also we had plenty of dishes as well as pots and pans and even a measuring cup, some mixing bowls and glass storage containers.

The bed felt like sleeping on the floor. The lady at the front desk was rude. After being charged a certain amount including taxes, the charged me over $30 stating that the amount I was given by booking was without tax and that booking can't say how much taxes are etc. Luckily booking has my back. Check your bank statement to make sure they don't do this to you as well.

Breakfast is always great a Staybridge. They have great varieties and great times. Love the rooms with the kitchens that comes with dishes and ways to cook. It really helps when our family travels.

The pull out sofas could use an upgrade.

I've stayed I believe 15 days on 3 separate trips and thought I was getting points on my membership. But after looking at my account, I have no points. Very disappointed and have more plans to stay again but may have to find another place that does honor their points

Location, size of room, ability to cook and indoor pool, free laundry facility, evening meals (of sorts)j, breakfast and breakfast hours.

Sometime access to parking was difficult
