Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tilton, an IHG Hotel

Staff was friendly and very welcoming. There are plenty of outdoor parking. Our room was very clean, probably one of the times i felt comfortable sleeping in a hotel bed sheet/pillow case. Complimentary breakfast with wide selection but we were in a hurry to get some so cannot rate on the food.

Only down side is this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Though, there are many fast food restaurants nearby if need to grab a quick bite. If want actual restaurant food will have to travel a bit further into town.

per booking.com I was told that I would not be charged until I got to the facility. My cc was charged prior to me leaving for my trip. when I called the hotel to see why I was told it was due to me using booking.com and they wanted to make sure it was a valid reservation. I complained bc I didn’t want to use that cc and when I got to the hotel I still had to give a card which they ran again. I was also charged for more than what I was told the booking was for

Room was very clean, loved all the outlets for charging electronics.

When checking in I asked about AAA or AARP discount. Was told by the woman that those discounts were available but if I wanted that I needed to have checked that off when booking. Her attitude about this was upity and poor. I do not recall having that option when I reserved the room months ago as I usually pay very close attention to such things. I am not sure why she couldn't one, answer in a more respectful tone and two, given me the discount. Other hotels would have. The bed was a bit softer than we like.

We were absolutely pleased with everything. The room was exceptionally clean! The staff was wonderful - especially Terry who was on the desk when we came in!!! The breakfast was great, more than expected. There was nothing we could complain about.

The light in the bathroom was very bright. It would be nice if there was a second, less bright, light. And a vent for the shower steam.

I liked that a hot breakfast was included with my stay. Loved the bed and pillows, both very comfortable.

Wish there were more hot choices for breakfast such as hash browns or some kind of potato to go with the eggs and the P-tack unit in the room didn't cool our room sufficiently. We'd set the thermostat and the unit came on and off constantly without cooling the room to the desired temperature. We were on the second floor so I don't understand why the room wouldn't stay at the temperature selected.

it was clean and had a lot of nice touches like toiletries etc. big spacious rooms and nice clean pool.

not really anything except when we arrived nobody was at the front desk and it took 15 minutes for anyone to show up and check us in. Not a huge deal but they also didn’t have a bell to ring for service. They were friendly and helpful though so no complaints. Especially since we were early anyway.

My granddaughter and I came to Tilton to go to Soulfest, breakfast was excellent as my granddaughter is a picky eater (18 years old), [ool was awesome but cold, beautiful location, and very fantastic staff.

I liked the pool but could have been warmer. otherwise, I couldn't think of anything else that was wrong with the facility. Was in a fantastic location with malls, eateries, and large wholesale stores (Walmart).

The absence of the staff at the lobby check in, multiple times The inside temperature of the hotel !!! Especially the hallways and my room !!! Unbelieveably hot !!! The thermostat control in the bedroom and it's difficulty of use !!! Frustratiing Road noise at night

Overall pretty nice. Evening desk clerk with beard was super friendly. Loved the creek.

No attention to detail, even though we requested it ahead of time. Top of bed frame had cobwebs and dirt. No housekeeping. Room not stocked for length of stay. Blunts on ledge of trashcan by front entrance.

Breakfast was above average, good variety, well stocked, clean, and an ample sized room. Beds are comfortable, the hotel is updated, the front staff is friendly, it was super quiet for sleeping, basically, this place is very well run.

I did not have an issue with any items during my stay
