Hilton Garden Inn Edison/Raritan Center

The location was perfect, the staff very helpful - could not be better. Other reviews have criticized state of room - in my room the drapes clearly needed replacement and the carpet was either old or a poor color choice BUT - the bed was great, very comfy, pillows perfect for me, the bathroom was fantastic - shower had great temperature control and water volume and drained excellently well. The sink was similarly excellent. Towels and hair dryer were fine. The temperature control system worked very well, and the room was quiet. The TV was excellent. Breakfast buffet scrambled eggs and bacon were tasty and plentiful. The coffee was great. Pastries and teas selection could have been better. There was a charge for breakfast but it was quite low and a good value. Dinner selection was a bit limited but was fine - and it was nice to have a restaurant on site. I was very happy with the hotel and will be back when in the area again.

It would be pretty easy to have a much better selection of tea bags. The room drapes and carpet could be updated - but my room was clean and fine. To me the bed is much more important than the drapes and the bed was great.

Once again, HGI did not disappoint! I stayed here on both ends of a long road trip. The location was closet to the highway, but not so close to have traffic noise. The pool was small, but fine enough for relaxing in a little bit. The bed was comfortable, and the upgraded wifi worked great. I was able to attend a 2 hour long meeting online without issue. The bartender in the lobby was friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the whirlpool tub- I'm a large person, and it was still long enough and deep enough that I was still able to submerge most of me!

I feel like the lighting in the parking lot could have been better. Otherwise it was a great stay!

All was well. Early check in. Thank you. Several family members stayed here in order to attend a funeral locally. Great location. Lovely little lounge. Air/heat easy to control. Small fridge was quiet. Shower nice and warm even on 5th floor. Would stay again if necessary in that area.

Maybe due to our early check in, we were not offered water which was needed. Although there was a hand bar to enter the tub shower, I would suggest a hand bar within the tub area for maneuvering, even in non disabled rooms.

The size of TV, the quietness, the pool, the bathroom especially that extra mirror that give you a close up, the room was alright.

The fridge didn't work, no microwave , and my Grandson (1 yr in age)blistered up after getting out the pool. And also how you can't use your hotel key to get back in form going to your car you have to walk back around the premises.

Everything felt cozy and the sheets were clean. Even the toiletries are hypoallergenic. No breakout from the towels or linens with sensitive skin. Looked inviting upon entry. Lobby and staff are great amd friendly. Carpets and floors looked clean.

The bathtub had no drainstop in my room. I asked to see another room and it looked in less good condition than the room I was in. I decided to stay in the original room. The elevator could use a tune up.

The breakfast was good. The server seemed overwhelmed. I wasn't sure why he only asked my partner what would she like? He didn't asked me. So, I went up to the cook and the server was there and I asked him if I can order here he said " yes you can order here" then walked away. I couldn't help it but to laugh and my partner saw the whole thing and she was amazed. I wasn't sure what to think was I being discriminated or was he just overwhelmed?

Not sure what to say here just very confused about breakfast service.

We needed a hotel in the central Jersey area on short notice, and this location turned out to be very good for our needs. It was comfortable and clean, and the towels were nice and thick. This hotel suited us just fine.

Breakfast was available for a cost, but we were not told about it when we checked in. We opted not to eat breakfast at the hotel. It was getting very busy with a real estate conference when we checked out.

Very nice rooms, spaceous, clean, comfortable. Has really all you need right at hotel. Loved the Keurig in the room - was able to each enjoy a hot drink in the evening and in the morning.

Walls are a little thin. Our neighbors were very "active" and you could hear it pretty easily.

The location is in a great spot and parking was not a problem. Checking in and out was quick and easy and the staff was extremely nice and informative. The room was spotless,spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Having a refrigerator to keep my water cold,a microwave should I have brought or bought food and a Keurig with several different coffees and tea just added to what was already a fantastic experience.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Room was large. Plenty of room. Nice to have a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room. The employees were all very nice.

The shower. We were in an ADA room and the shower was a walk in shower. Water from the shower went on to the floor of the bathroom. The knob for the handheld sprayer was broken, so couldn't use that.
