Hampton Inn Linden

The check in was quick. There is renovations going on so there was a worker sitting at the entrance at a table. The check in was quick and flawless .The young lady apologized for the state of the entrance.

i stayed for 4 nights/ August 14 to 18th. The bed was comfortable and I had good sleeps for 3 night. On the last night I could not sleep because the smell of cigarette smoke was coming through the vent. I am asthmatic and therefore I was up coughing and getting a headache. When I checked out I told the young lady at the desk and she said I should have called and my room could have been changed. This started around 12.30 am and I did not think to call the desk. I am home in Bermuda now and although I took aspirin for my headache, I still have it.

At check-in, Te'sire (not sure of the spelling) was wonderful! She was pleasant and very helpful and accommodating. She made check-in for 8 people in 3 rooms painless! We truly appreciated her assistance. Please commend her on her professionalism, great attitude and demeanor. She is a superstar! The Dill Family Bermuda

That there were no clean towels available when we needed them after hours. Either get more staff or get more towels.

The bathroom was extremely clean, the room was very nice and the location was very easy to get in and out of. The staff were also very friendly. Very welcoming feel, breakfast was good and was felt very comfortable.

The wifi would not work, and our room would not get any cooler than 75 degrees despite turning the thermostat down to 55 to get it to cool off. We did not call the front desk because we only stayed one night and were leaving in the morning.

The staff were friendly and professional, I am originally from this area and I took a chance staying here even though it was next to Route 1&9. I thought it would be noisy but it wasn't. Stayed in room 235 location was great for what I wanted to do, took the train from Linden to NYC and back no problems, rooms were clean and comfortable the fact that there were several restaurants and grocery stores near was a plus for my wife.

Shower head could be better but I adjusted in order to get a little more pressure, not a deal breaker.

Liked that room was clean and nice and cool. Loved how welcoming the staff was when checking us in.

I think the food served should have more options. For example a bag breakfast, maybe some fruit a small juice a breakfast bar. This way people that come to breakfast a little later can have some food. Twice we went for food and it was a madhouse and nothing really left to eat😞

The property was in a good location. Near Walmart, Target, etc. easy to grab cheaper snacks and anything you may have forgotten. Movie theater and several restaurants near by. Hot breakfast offered so that was a plus!

AC unit in our room wasn’t working. They offered to switch our room and brought in a fan. Shower tiles had been changed but bathtub needed to be resurfaced.

Property is being refurbished; our room was recently refurbished and was very nice. Great breakfast, including some hot items. Quiet location and conveniently located near several restaurants and shopping area.

Swimming pool was closed due to the refurbishment, but that was no problem. Booking.com shows this hotel has a shuttle to the airport, but it does not.

the location of the property is a dream. it’s part of a shopping strip mall and the rest of the neighborhood is just store after store after store which is a shoppers dream. very clean and nice location and the staff were absolutely amazing. The gentleman in the kitchen who oversee breakfast in the morning is delightful and friendly. I wouldn’t want to live in a hotel but experiences like this make me want to lol just a great place, location, people and at an affordable price.

It was all great.

I booked two rooms, the king suite and a jacuzzi room. Both were large and roomy and allowed for our wedding party to get ready comfortably. The breakfast was great and provided a lot of options. The location is about 15 minutes from Newark Airport, which allowed some of our guests to arrive and leave quickly.

There was a consistent smell of marijuana in the elevator and some of the hallways.

The staff did an excellent job for the morning breakfast. They had a different variety of selections each morning. The room was good and the staff that clean the rooms did a good job being that I understand COVID has short hand employees.

I really enjoy the front desk staff that always made you feel and a valuable guest. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would like to acknowledge the front desk manager Mr. Chris along with Jae, Nellie and Madelyn for their outstanding service to while at your facility.
