Good value travelling with car for a concert in Newark and not caring about decor. Stayed 2 nights, common spaces clean and calm, front desk workers were polite and helpful at check-in and check-out. The dining room is open for breakfast, continental buffet including a few choices of hot patties. Had a room on the 5th floor, hallway clean, no smoke smell, room was in good shape and clean, comfortable, well-equipped. Easy and safe parking on the grounds. Felt safe throughout our stay. Godspeed to the worker who chased their rolling garbage bin in the pouring rain hanging on to their umbrella and handled it back like a boss.

Our only concern was in the bathroom, seeing 1-2 bugs crawl away a few times when we opened the light. We kept our bags shut and items sealed, sealed the bottom of the bathroom door with a towel at night. Then checked and washed our stuff before unpacking at home and we’re ok.

good location, good if you're comfortable with driving or walking in urban environments. clean, comfortable, large screen tv in room with direcTV. tvs also support airplay- make sure to turn it off in Samsung TV settings if you don't want your room neighbors trying to connect to your tv by mistake for 20 minutes straight though. has a tv guide, nice as most hotels don't have this

location was convenient if a little difficult to access by car if you're not familiar with the area. short walk to NYC transit, which is less expensive than hotel shuttle to NYC (shuttle $10 each way per person booked in advance, NJ transit buses only $3.75 each way)

Rooms are huge and spacious. location of the hotel is great even for those who want to travel to Manhattan by riding a Paterson-Manhattan shuttle for just 3.5 USD per person. It stops within a walking distance from the hotel every 10-15 minutes.

The only thing is that the air conditioner was a bit noisy, but after being tired from a whole-day walk you will never hear it and fall asleep easily:);

The area around the hotel was ok.. I mean, there isn't much around but the price you pay to be closer to NY is not bad at all. The beds are so comfortable, the room had a nice electric fireplace (not a heater) really cozy feeling after a long walk around NY city.

A group of people talking and laughing really loud in front of my door at 4:00am that was so annoying i had to get out of bed to tell them to keep it down and be a litlle more respectful and also talk about the complimentary breakfast... that was a joke! Seriously, for the price people are paying for the rooms, you should provide more than cold bagel and orange juice. They hand out lunch bags with cold hard bagel, warm orange juice, and a snack bar.. like come on, that is just sad! I paid $40 less at the Hyatt and they had a full buffet style complimentary breakfast. So come on, this hotel needs to step it up.

Lovely clean room. Massive bed, great wall mounted 55" TV, coffee machine. Sensible breakfast in the mornings and a reliable shuttle service into NYC three times a day at $10 each way. ( cab ride $80.) Ample parking and constant cleaning of the outside area by janitor. Very pleased. Chris, LIVERPOOL.

Sooo cheap, walk to the bus (a bit of the way) to get into NYC), lots of space for a pack & play in the room, they let us stay parked there after checkout the next day so we could go into the city again before we left.

Despite being non-smoking, everything smelled tinged cigarettes & marijuana. And we saw a guy walking around with a cigarette. It's pretty far from the bus stop and the walk is less than scenic. Pillows weren't comfy and it was a little cold. But all that said, it was 100% worth it

The room was super clean and the beds were super comfortable and soft. The details in the room are very nice. It comes with everything that you may need on a trip.

The things that I didn’t like about the hotel were there was one staff in the front desk that wasn’t very kind to the guests. The Ice machines on the floors didn’t work. Also, the gym was small and smelled musty.

Very could location that will get you to new York in less then an hour walk and bus. Clean. Good breakfast.

There were some problems with the water, 2 times only boiling hot water came out of all the taps, very dangerous and inconvenient but the next day or was fixed.

I loved the fireplace under the TV, that was an unexpected touch that me and my partner really enjoyed during our two nights. The staff was really friendly and no matter who it was they always helped us with whatever quandary we had for them.

One thing that was unfortunate is that there was no shower curtain in our room when we first arrived so I had to ask the front desk for one and it took a couple of hours to get that shower curtain, but it really wasn't that big of a deal. Also I think I got the room next to the elevator so during the night I could hear everyone who came in and out of that elevator, but that is just luck of the draw I guess.

Bathroom looks updated and cleaned. Comfortable beds and pillows.

The place is clean and it has comfortable beds bud the advertised is a scam, they tell you $89.00 for a room of two queen beds and a sofa bed, but when you get there, they tell you only 2 people could stay for that charge, you have to pay $20 extra for each person so at the end I paid $189 including taxes and whatever fees they charged, which is not fair when they advertise something different.. Another thing they did is they canceled my first reservation and called me with a new one at the last minute and it was more than what I reserved. They only reason I stayed there is because finding a place to stay in New York at the last minute on a weekend is a Lottery. Another thing is it says breakfast included and they only give you a to go bag with a muffin, apple juice and an energy bar.
