Scottish Inns Milford

The staff were very personable and welcoming; the heater in the bathroom was an amazing feature; the bed was very comfortable; the microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker were all immaculate. For that matter, the entire room was immaculate: the floors, bedding, shower and counter space!

I would have liked a spare blanket in the room, and would have liked more snack options in the main office.

The bathroom was bigger than many other hotel rooms I have stayed in! Plenty of hot water for a shower and pristine white towels. I liked having a microwave and frig in the room. The bed was comfortable. When I had trouble turning the TV on, help was available within minutes and the problem was solved quickly. The room was immaculately clean.

The door had a bolt lock, but I wish it had a third lock like a chain/bar lock.

Very comfortable bed, large bathroom, shower had a handy grab bar and shelves for soap/shampoo, convenient parking just outside the door, reasonable price compared with other area lodging. Anna at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Lots of traffic noise, only one nightstand, low shower pressure, there was a luggage rack but otherwise no surface area to set luggage except on the desk, which defeats the purpose of having a desk. This hotel continues the outdated practice of putting a decorative pillow on the bed, which is unsanitary as they’re not washed between each guest. Almost all hotels have stopped doing this and this one should too. Despite these issues, our overall stay was good.

My wife was looking up hotels because we would be traveling to the area and found Scottish Inns.we booked at Milford, N.Y. On our Trip we actually passed one of your locations in the Baltimore, Maryland area so we kinda had a idea on what to expect of at least the overall look of the hotel in Milford . Rooms was better then expected and the rate was better then expected, very reasonable , I would rate this Scottish Inn with 4 1/2 stars.

Pillows and bed are a little hard, but not horrible

Room was clean and comfortable and looked modern and well maintained. Staff was friendly and compared to the alternative in the area, it was a great value.

Not a huge fan of the acoustic ceiling tiles, but that's trivial, and there were no water stains on them or anything, so it's unfair to fault them for that. The only complain is that being so close to the highway, you do hear road noise. That might be a deal breaker for some, not for others. It bothered my wife a lot more than it bothered me.

They were very cooperative at check in. Gave me key to room although l arrived early.

Motel in the middle of beautiful nowhere. AC on the old side, but still effective enough to cool down the room during a very hot summer. Very clean bathroom, comfy beds. We drove a couple of minutes down the road to the camping site of Milford to take an evening swim in the Delaware river, which was excellent fun. The best feature was located down the parking lot, the next door "Village Diner", an authentic 1950s diner straight out of a Hollywood film, with an excellent range of food on offer.

Location was great, but there was an address on the GPS that misled me. The kind woman who was at the front desk easily told me (by phone) how to get to the "real" Scottish Inn address. Room was clean, and well appointed, I slept like a rock. Location of a really good diner, directly across the parking lot was a FANTASTIC treat for breakfast!

The GPS mistake set me back a bit, but it wasn't too bad. Difficult to find dinner late at night after I returned to the room.
