Western Skies Inn & Suites

We chose this hotel based on a previous stay. Found friendly staff and lots of great updates. Our queen suite was divided by a peninsula counter area with sink, small fridge and microwave. Sitting area had a sofa, modern end tables, small table with two chairs. Armoire for clothing. Great bed. Modern bathroom vanity and lighting. New carpet in room and hallway. We walked a block to Mariscos Altamar Mexican Restaurant where the staff brought dessert and sang Happy Birthday to ME! Many margaritas to choose from including Coconut flavor with toasted coconut on the rim!

They are not yet serving breakfast, but we knew that and had brought bagels and cream cheese! The staff said they will be adding that again very soon! They have a nicely updated entry and check-in area near the breakfast eating area.

Night front desk clerk Jackie is wonderful, she has friendly attitude she talks to you as you know each other for years - she will help you with where to go eat, store or places you want to see. Hotel is pet friendly, she fell in love with my dog - sad that continental breakfast is no more due to the ugly covid delta virus, just coffee only - with cameras inside hallway and outside I felt safe - didn't have my car broken into or stolen, that made us feel good - room was clean, like the wood floors, seat pad over heater/cooler can seat on and look out the window - being on the 3rd floor you can open the window at night and fall asleep - bed comfy, room feels like a small apartment - didn't get a chance to use guest laundry - was a nice stay.

Just a few touch ups, bottom of toilet sealant needs to be sealant again - shower seal - bathroom floors need to be seal around squares - along the wall by door.

No breakfast served. Charged us a pet fee for every pet every day. No discount to buy breakfast somewhere else. We paid $90.00 plus taxes just for our pet's to be there in their cages, while the people next door had 3 small children that trashed the room and played loudly till after 10 o'clock that night. Were they charged extra for the mess the children left? i am a senior citizen and my dog shows are my hobby, but your fees make it impossible for us to stay at you hotel in the future.

We were in need of a hotel after a long ride on our motorcycle ..in the Heat. This was the only hotel so our only choice. It served our needs. Room had all the amenities we needed . A Restaurant close was a plus after a long day

For the price I was a bit disappointed. Bathroom was a bit unclean. For the price I expected it to bee 100% kept up... it wasn't. Guy at checking was not very personable .. No breakfast served because of Covid... that was a bummer !

Price of stay was good and the interstate outlet was good.

Breakfast was not service. The room was small but was okay. The couch was sunken, to low once you sat down when you got up you have to climb out. If you have knee problems, heavy weight this is a problem. Late evening parkiing gets crowded for vehicle.

Clean / Nice place / Walmart across the street / every type of food restaurants close by My room (#108) had a love seat with coffee table....I really like not having to use the Bed for a lounge....It's nice to have a little couch and table to relax in

if you love a SUPER Firm mattress you will love the beds here......way too firm for me that was the only negative for me.

Clean room and facility with friendly staff. A bonus was being able to walk to dinner at a local Mexican seafood restaurant (which had great food)!! Thank you, Laura, for the recommendation!

Unfortunately, no breakfast was available due to covid. However, we have been traveling cross country and all of our other facilities thus far had breakfast options.

Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Good location with many restaurants and grocery shopping nearby. Price was excellent. Pet friendly. Most people wore a mask.

Breakfast was advertised but not actually available. The bed springs sounded broken and the bed sagged which was hard on my husband's back. Pool was listed as a feature but was not open.

Due to the pandemic they do not serve breakfast, but since they do not make the rate cheaper or they bring breakfast to the room or one picks it up and that some employee is delivering it ... here the hotel seeks to save a lot, and that is not a good service .

The only thing I didn’t like was that my room smelled very heavily of cigarettes and that the couch was covered in mystery stains and crusty stuff. We didn’t sit or place anything on the couch because of how gross it was Other than that I really liked my stay
