La Quinta by Wyndham Jamestown

Perfect location to the museums we wanted to see. Afraid of location being nosy wirh traffic and it was very pleasant. Breakfast was hot and loved the non dairy options. The lady the day we checked in had a few issues she was dealing wirh on the phone but she multi tasked well, handled in person customers tandomly and made sure everyone had the same wonderful experience

My mom wanted to use the pool but we could not find out if we could use the lift to help with hwr mobility. A sign would be nice( when staff is busy or away) that states if we can use it and if we need staff assistance to use it .

Desk gal on check in had the brightest wonderful attitude, especially given the difficult working condition of a hot lobby without AC. Clean up to date refreshed rooms. Usual low-end Wyndham continental brek offerings with addition of waffles, instant eggs, and a brek meat.

AC not working in public areas including lobby, breakfast room, and hallways making them unbearable. No fans provided to at least get some air moving. Can't imagine how staff manages to do the laundry without passing out. Heard owner doesn't want to spend the money to repair it. No excuse.

There were some technical difficulties while I was there due to construction and loss of AC, but the staff was gracious and worked hard to please. The breakfast was quite a spread and wonderful. Comfortable bed, very clean room. Had a wonderful stay. Would book again!

Things that were difficult were beyond the control of the facility. There was construction and problems with the AC, but these did not affect my stay, so were not an issue for me.

Staff-always friendly & helpful. very impressed with the young individuals at the hotel. Observed them taking pride in their responsibilities. Noticed the “breakfast manager” outside picking up litter while we were enjoying a wonderful breakfast. Everyone seemed to have a very positive attitude!

Bathroom vanity mirror wasn’t lighted…when asking during checkout we were told that we needed to flip both switches (light AND fan switch) {we felt all around the mirror looking for a switch}[should have asked earlier]. Suggested that a small note would be helpful.

So much to love: The breakfast and ladies running it were awesome. They wanted to please. Thank you for having oat and soy milk!!! I was finally able to enjoy some delicious oatmeal. We would definitely choose this hotel again. The room, front desk, location, breakfast, pool—all good!

The very small parking lot. Hit or miss to get a space without having to park on the street which we didn’t like. Suggestion: Rip out all the not-so-nice looking landscaping and replace it with parallel parking spaces. Guests would appreciate parking on the property where it’s safer. First impressions are important. The lobby is newish and nice looking but then you walk into the elevator and the rug is very dirty. We liked the room but the bathroom configuration was off. There was no more than a half inch clearance from the door to the toilet. Awkward and cumbersome. The pool temperature could have hit a little warmer. All the above-mentioned items all very fixable!

The value was great.....the room was very nice....the staff was great....appreciated Heidi's help with showing me how to use the printer in the business center...the breakfast was very good as usual....the ease of check in and check out is great

It would have been perfect with the exception of some very noisy guest the last night we were there....I think I overheard some other guest mention it to the manager....he told us that he would review the tapes from the night before to determine who was making the noise.....

Nice hotel for overnight stay in Jamestown. Southern Tier Brewery is about 5 miles away with good food and beer. Downtown Jamestown has several restaurants near the hotel. The room was clean and the hotel was a good value.

Parking is limited and the parking lot is one way with a deadend. After you unload luggage, you have to back up in order to work exit the parking lot. Street parking and an overflow parking lot are available after you unload luggage.

rooms

first they called me and told me we had to pay a $200 cash deposit until I explained we were coming from an hour away. staff messed up mine and another couples rooms multiple times. then when we came back after a few drinks our keys didn’t work because they shut them off so then they tried to put us in another room after the fact that we already had our belongings in the other room. it was quite ridiculous.

Pool. Within walking distance of museums. Maria at front desk very helpful.

Pull out bed had dirty disgusting sheet that had not been changed for a long time and no top sheet or blanket. I had to get a clean bottom sheet, and ask for top sheet and blanket and make up the bed. There were 3 of us staying in the room with one king and the pull out so everything should have been changed.

the hotel is walking distance to restaurants, lucille ball museum and comedy museum.the continental breakfast wasa treat. we only wished we had seen there was a pool on site. friendly staff and clean.

the hotel was fine. museums aren't open on wed which is when we were there. also area is depressed and has fair share of drug addicts and winos in the surrounding areas. and alot of stuff closed in daytime or only open after 4 or thurs-sun
