Sleep Inn & Suites Monroe - Woodbury

Both front desk staff and housekeeping was amazing. Our room was immaculate, and very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good..eggs...waffles.. sausage, breads, English muffins and bagels. They also had fruit cups, and a variety of fresh fruit.

We only had one little criticism. There are no vending machines, so if you want a beverage or snack, you have to go to the lobby store. They were totally out of diet drinks, so we had to travel a few miles to pick them up.

The beds were very comfortable, good bathroom and very clean. The location is quiet, away from the road. Staff were fantastic and catered for all our request, even the last minite changes. Appreciated the free ice on every floor. It was a great and comfortable stay for a 2-star hotel.

Breakfast was a not suitable for people avoiding sugar. The town itself didn’t have many places open for dinner. The streetlighting was poor and roads badly signposted.

I was disappointed that I tried to book only sat but it wouldn’t let me do that I had to book 2 nights and doesn’t state a2 nite minimum. Also we stay here at least 2-3 times a year and we were there within last 6 months and your prices were more than doubled. so pretty sure I won’t be staying here anymore due to this reason.

also I was out the whole day on Saturday got back to room at 4 snd room still wasn’t cleaned plus when we checked in the garbage in the room had someone’s dirty brush in the csn so how clean are the rooms. Also your breakfast should be until 1030 if I’m on leisurely weekend I don’t want to have to come down between 530-930

We were booked from 12/19-12/30. Unfortunately we got COVID n had to quarantine at the hotel till 1/14/22. I am so grateful to the desk staff - lee, Victoria, Amanda n a young gentleman ( I think his name was Jonathan , although I’m not sure)- he worked the morning shift. They all went above n beyond to help us ie: bringing us breakfast, food/drinks/hot chocolate, etc. as we couldn’t leave the room. They brought packages n ordered food to our room immediately. I am so appreciative of their attention to our needs. This also includes the cleaning staff who brought us whatever we requested. For the future, I will always try n stay at ur hotel as I come to New York 3-4 times a year to visit our family. Also because of the COVID we had to keep on extending our stay. Ur staff graciously helped us with the reservations. They allowed us to stay in our room

As I reserved a handicapped accessible room I was surprised it didnt have a handrail to get in n out of the shower. Nor was there a seat in the shower. The room we reserved last 7/21 had just a shower ( no tub ) but had a seat

Staff very attentive and courteous. Breakfast had great variety and good setup. Easy to access WiFi. TV programming guide was present which helped alot.to select viewing options. (Not all hotels have this which is very frustrating). Clean and modern room/bathroom. The availability of a store for microwavable dinner items is great!!! Many times we get into a hotel too late to get food out and we are hungry!

The cheese omelet and bacon had no taste. Very disappointing because I was thrilled to see real food (not microwavable breakfast sandwiches).

The place was clean and the staff was friendly and nice. The breakfast was a good balance of pastries, fresh fruit, waffle maker, gluten free bread, eggs boiled and fresh, hashbrown, sausage pattie, fresh juice, and good quality tea. Im not a coffee drinker so I cannot rate that. Everything was organized, clean and well balanced. The room came with a microwave and mini frig.The room was sufficient and the floor quiet. If anyone was next door you would not know it. I would stay here again if given the chance.

The parking was a bit far from the front door. I had a disabled person so it would have been nice for a closer parking spot.

The breakfast was nice. However, my family went down around nine thirty and the waffle mix was out. My wife was only able to get half of a cup of the batter and she was told that was all of the batter for the day. I realize breakfast ends at ten, but families getting children ready and such should still be able to use the full breakfast. Also, there were many more guests also wanting to make waffles.

Everything was as expected. Staff were great as usual.

I don't know exactly how clean everything is if there was 1 single rose petal on the floor next to the bed when I first entered the room since if something like that is left over from the prior occupant(s), what else isn't being cleaned up? Walls are pretty thin but then again I'm sure people heard the noises me and my partner were making as well so I can't really complain about that. Wish there was a way to dim the lighting.

Super clean, big room, comfortable bed and nice breakfast. I think a lot of 3 star hotels in Europe need to get inspiration from this hotel as they are way way worse and have fewer amenities. This hotel surprised me with the fact that it’s 2 stars only, in the EU it’d be a 3-4 star hotel no doubt

The hotel is new, room very clean and spacious. The location is out of nowhere, uniquely surrounded by woods and a main road in front. Very serene in morning, with the freshest air. Nice morning walk around the hotel compound. Breakfast is simple but good enough with pancake machine and a variety of choices. The best thing is they provide complimentary coffee, tea and cookies all day, at the lobby.
