Montauk Manor

Montauk Manor is a beautiful facility that blends old and new. It was a step back in time but also had all of the amenities that we could need. The grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is a wonderful option especially with little kids. The room was even bigger than I had thought it would be and was perfect for our family with 2 small children.

There was a note on the door that face masks were required but so few people were wearing them - even some staff. I do not think that staff should have to confront guests so I don't know what the right answer is here - I was just disappointed! Very grateful that no space was too busy and that it was possible to distance from people.

The staff was extremely sweet and accommodating. The manor is beautiful and decorated for the season. The manor had a fascinating history, which was more palpable as you walked through its lobby. The shuttle service was a life savor if you're traveling by train. Our driver (we think his name was Chaz, sorry if we got this wrong!) was extremely knowledgeable and a delight, giving great recommendations for us to do on our trip.

On-site restaurant was not the best. Room did not have a direct view of the water (but still pretty enough). The location is awkwardly far from town if you don't have a car, but the shuttle helps with that.

Very clean and everyone was nice, staff was super nice, restaurant in the hotel called the monte. Great food, nice staff, good prices. Wish it was open for dinner too! Room was gorgeous and clean. Pool area is great. Has laundry machines, have to use quarters.

It isn’t walking distance to anything, really just the location is the only thing I didn’t like. Wish they had maid service. Only thing they do is take out the garbage but they are very nice. Next year will go in July though, so many bees! Gym is nice to have but was in the basement and no views.

Plenty of very nice nearby restaurants although some quite pricy. Apartment was very clean and spacious. Montauk Manor provided exceptional shuttle services, Miguel the driver was commendable, very personable and helpful.

Apartment (room 110) shower didn’t drain very well and therefore you were standing in ankle deep water while showering. Phoned the Montauk Manor to request an upper level room with a view and told that would be no problem. When I arrived I was told the loft room that I booked was only available on the first floor so my view was the parking lot.

My stay at Montauk Manor was way beyond my expectations! The facility and my room was very clean. The lobby was so cozy that I wished I could've spent more time in it, listening to the piano play. I also liked that there was a van that was readily available to drop us off at the beach. Aside from the cleanliness, my room was well stocked with cooking equipment, plates, utensils, microwave, stove, oven, and coffee machine. It was well more than what I could've asked for and I will definitely be back at Montauk Manor later this summer!

I wish Ditch Plains was one of the beaches that we could've had a parking pass for, but it was okay because the van was so reliable. So at the end of the day, this was not an issue. Otherwise, my stay was wonderful!

Very helpful reception, and the room was small a bit dated but functional. The outdoor pool was heated to 85 degrees, tennis courts busy and the real bonus of the shuttle drivers. They have no restaurant or bar open, I am not sure they plan to ever re open. But they offer a booking service and free shuttle to over 15 restaurants recommended, which is quite a service to offer in compensation. I enjoyed my stay, thankyou.

Rather soul less without even a small bar, restaurant or any facilities, and a little ghostly with recorded piano music coming from, the piano..

The Montauk Manor is walking distance from both the train station and the town center. However, they also have a convenience shuttle if you prefer! The staff was very friendly, and the property itself is beautiful. Even the studio room felt large. It was the perfect place for my weekend getaway!

The only bummer was that the pool was undergoing renovations and the restaurant ran out of breakfast potatoes. Those are very minor inconveniences though! The pros of this hotel definitely outweigh the cons.

The rooms at the manor are absolutely exceptional! We had our own outdoor patio with a view of the bay which I was no expecting at all! We enjoyed dinner at Montes which was located right in the manor and it was delicious!

I grew up coming here every memorial weekend with my family and now with how popular Montauk has become it’s become so extremely expensive to stay here anytime but the off season now. The manor is stunning so I hope to one day enjoy it again in warmer weather!

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The Manor is an impressive location where the luxury of the past can still be felt and enjoyed. The whole guest service has much attention to detail. We loved the tennis courts in front of the house. Everything was very clean and well cared. The room offers a large variety of DVDs - which itself is like traveling into the past. The Manor is probably the best place to be when luxury relaxation is searched for at "The End".

Very pleasant appartment unit. Montauk Hotel is an exclusive style 1927 resort hotel which it would have been a pity to have missed. The outlook, facilities and notably the lobby are excellent. Peaceful, although this was a quiet time of year, which helped.

Limited walks around the grounds, admittedly with excellent views over the sea from a high point. Need a car for the short distance into Montauk itself, which might be inconvenient in busy times. Did not try the shuttle bus.
