Holiday Inn Express Syracuse-Fairgrounds, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is very clean, updated and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Easy to get to from highway. Great newer restaurant/ sports bar nearby - Jammers. Food was very good. Nice outdoor seating.

At first glance the area is a bit isolated with heavy machinery around. The ground were very well maintained, though. Would definitely stay again.

Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was tasty. Room was appointed with all the amenities I was looking for ie microwave. The shower pressure was very good too.

The only thing that was a nuisance is that there was a sign in the elevator that listed 1st,3rd and 4th floors having ice. I was staying on the second floor. I walked up to the 3rd floor and the machine was not working. So I went to the 4th floor. There wasn’t even an ice machine located there. It was frustrating. I did end up on the main floor for ice.

Breakfast was good. We like eggs, bacon & pancakes so making our own pancakes was nice.

Perhaps having some additional fruit options would have been healthier for breakfast. The carpet in our room felt sticky but since it was an overnight stay so I just dealt with it. There was also construction going on during the night after mid night, which was inconsiderate.

Room was as expected, very comfortable beds, everything worked. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast choices were satisfactory. This location is very quiet.

This location is difficult to find, even with GPS. There is not enough signage from the highway. The location is pretty isolated, with few dining options even in the area, no gas stations or convenience stores.

Check in was super easy. Employee even had a sample of the shower nozzle and how to work it! Room was clean and comfortable. Pool area was nice. Breakfast had something for everyone. The hotel itself was in a quiet area. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything. Cold AC, clean room, and clean bedsheets. Extra linen was available through the front desk. The pool was at a comfortable temperature. In addition, the staff was friendly, courteous, and eager to help. This really is a 5 star hotel with affordable rates. Also, the location is a bit secluded, so highway vehicle noise is greatly reduced. It's a very quiet neighborhood. We love it! Thank you for helping to make our trip memorable!

Although the property is very secluded, it was a relaxing atmosphere. Clean rooms, indoor pool which my daughter enjoyed, complimentary breakfast, and the staff was very friendly!

The property is in the middle of nowhere, and there were a lot of guests in town for Nationals (car show) so the parking lot was packed with race cars.

The breakfast was excellent. The kitchen staff was very pleasant and very accommodating. Renee’s and Carleen are the best.

Great customer service. we needed an early check for twelve noon instead of three pm and they did it. very friendly staff nice and clean room. The breakfast was very good great value we would stay here again in a heartbeat. thanks.
