Hampton Inn & Suites Southern Pines-Pinehurst

All the Staff were friendly, kind and enjoyed taking a minute to talk with me and making sure I was alright with my stay. It was pretty quiet even with so many people staying there. Breakfast was great, fresh food made daily!

The fact that I chose a room with 2 queen size beds and received 2 full beds and they called it standard queen which was no where on my papers or page when I chose that room. Plus they would not put me into a queen size or return partial money back. Everything else was good. Don't change rooms on people then tell them that's what they chose, it's just wrong. I had family meeting me there which is why I needed the space, as it turns out they couldn't make it. No excuse for over charging and not returning partial payment. Not Happy about it at all! In the bathroom, there were hairs and dirt in the sink and the tub/shower. It was disgusting otherwise pretty descent. I only had to sleep there so there was that.

The facility was nice.

The desk person was rude when we tried to check in a little early. We waited. So when we checked in, she put us in a room with shower only, even though we had reserved a disabled room with bathtub. We made do. I didn't ask about it until checkout. She was rude and defensive, and said unless she sees me roll up in here in a wheelchair, she won't give me the disabled room. I didn't think it was appropriate for her to judge whether she thought I looked handicapped or not. And she didn't have to be so rude.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast had many delicious choices. The beds were quite comfy. This was the first time staying in a hotel that the pool was actually warm and clean! The staff was always rhere to help. The room and bathroom could have been a bit bigger but other than that I would stay here again!

Breakfast and location were good.

We could not access internet unless we downloaded the company app. We did not want to receive any marketing, emails, etc.. from the company. There was no apparent way to access the internet and our roaming did not work. We were not impressed and it was a huge inconvenience.

Inside pool, breakfast, My grandchildren love being there. TIhey wasn't ready to leave. They enjoyed the pool at nighttime.

My last night of stay I had an unexpected guest in my room.The young lady at the desk was very nice to offer me a gift card. Awakening by loud talking guests in hallway. Need more seating at pool.

I enjoyed the friendliness and kindness of the employees. The breakfast was an added bonus.

We stayed for five nights. I asked for a cleaning in the middle of the stay which would have been Saturday. Instead it was done on Sunday the day before we left. I understand that there are probably staffing shortages.

The breakfasts were okay but we've had much better at other Hampton Inns. The rooms were okay except there should be exhaust fans in the bathroom and we couldn't turn the fan down on the air conditioner unit.

The elevator carpets were very dirty and there was no maid service whatsoever. At the very least there could have been fresh towels brought in for the second night. Also, no lid on the ice bucket. Little things matter.

My view. Looking out see the other hotels was my favorite! I’m glad they put me on the back side!!

The air conditioner kept making real loud noises, shaking and waking me up throughout the night.

The beds were so comfortable. Staff was amazing. Free full breakfast daily- delicious. Indoor pool- we spent more time here than in our room. It was an incredible pool facility. Don’t worry about bringing swim towels as the hotel provides them. Fitness center looked nicely equipped. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Stay here 2 times a year for the last 7 years! Love the pet friendly option and love the waffles! Felt comfortable with their Covid protocols, hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes readily available! Always accommodating if an early check in is requested. Love it! Front seat staff and breakfast person very nice!

Bed was a little hard
