Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hillsborough

The staff was very helpful in taking care of important personal business for me. They finally replaced the broken coffee machine after eight days. Trash out front is now being removed in the early mornings. I'm happy to see that someone is paying attention to the importance in appearance and taking care of their customers.

Still have a problem with a particular male desk person spending his time in his personal vehicle on the phone while parked in the fire lane and obstructing the path to the handicap access ramp to the front door. There was a particular night that he actually had the lane blocked that nobody could even pass through. People would wait and he did not move. They finally just backed out. This is the second complaint that I have filed.

Pretty much everything! Staff was exceptional, location was perfect, the facility is incredible for the price, the breakfast is legit breakfast not just a granola bar 😉 Pretty much everything we needed for our overnight stay. I would definitely stay here again and I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone!!!

I wouldn't even say that I didn't like it, but our room didn't have a refrigerator nor did it have a microwave. We didn't need either for our overnight stay, though a fridge is always nice to keep some bottles of water in the room....but AGAIN....it was definitely not anything that would keep us from coming back or make us complain! We book rooms on a regular basis (once or twice a month) and this one definitely checks ALL THE BOXES!

It was a great little hotel for the price. The room was pretty smmal, but it was clean and the staff was kind. It was good that it was practically next to the interstate and there was a great mexican restaurant just next to the hotel.

1. THe AC in the room was terribly noisy. Every time it came on it woke us up. I reported it to the staff next morning and they asked the maintenance person to take care of it. 2. The bedside light control was only on one side. ONe of the lights in the room did not work at all. 3. Breakfast was included in the price, but there was NOTHING I could eat there> I am lactose intolerant (no dairy at all). Please consider that 30% of the population are lactose intolerant and include non-dairy items too. Thank you.

We arrived so late we probably shouldn't have even bothered (almost 5am, traffic was garbage). They actually marked us as a no show but were helping in getting us into our room for the few hours we were there. The front desk person was very nice. Our room was clean and the breakfast the next morning was nice. I made a fresh waffle for myself. They also had hot sausage gravy to go with biscuits, muffins, juice and coffee, and yogurt.

The establishment was a little older but overall very clean. Would go back for a quick overnight.

Centrally located, good price, good staff, only thing is the carpets need to be cleaned

The beds are terrific and the maids are good too.  Also, this is an area where there aren’t many places to stay that feel safe. This feels safe. It’s clean and friendly.

it was close to the interstate. The cost using Booking was good.

I was told I had to pay a $50.00 deposit that I would get back. it has been 2 days and still no refund.

Excellent value for the price room was comfortable and clean and staff were friendly and helpful.

Room smelled slightly of mildew and did not have a fridge and you had to go to the lobby to use the microwave staff said only the micro single rooms did not have these furnishings

Had my reservation, made room immediately available. Room clean, stocked with towels, coffee pot. Breakfast more than I could have asked for. A/C really worked.

Location a little tough to turn left into. Busy street going other way. I arrived about lunch hour with workers flocking to surrounding fast food places. Seemed to have some trouble keeping hot water on in the shower in the AM. Not sure if building ran out, I misused the controls.

We had some early morning noisy neighbors. repeated , loud door slamming.

Bed comfortable and clean. Bathroom clean and everything worked as expected. Staff was responsive and helpful. Breakfast bar was sufficient and stocked with what was expected.

Small refrigerator not available in single bed rooms.
