The gentleman that was at the desk the evening of my check in provided excellent customer service. There was an unhappy customer he handled with such Grace and made those of us waiting in line feel good and valued as he got to each of us one by one. He was great!

I woke up with a bug in the bed right by my pillowcase. I didn’t see any other bugs in the bed when I stripped it back so I didn’t say anything. I suppose that can randomly happen but it due freak me out a little.

For most of my adult life I've traveled, and can tell the difference between a good hotel and a great one. Usually it starts with the people. This Hampton Inn is one great hotel - welcoming staff, huge & comfy room, lots & lots of nutritious choices for breakfast, and everything super clean. There is such a good vibe here. Plus, I left my phone charger and the front desk folks helped me get it sent back to me. Just WOW!

Nothing that I didn't like. Everything and everyone exceeded my expectations. I hope I get to go back to Chapel Hill and stay here again!

Excellent hotel, the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was bright and airy and had about as great of a view as you can get for Chapel Hill / Carrboro. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was straightforward. The fridge in the room was useful. The location for the hotel is excellent. We stayed here so that we could ditch the car and have a good night out and that was happily achieved.

You can hear everything in the connected room. Unfortunately, the person next door was ranting on the phone - you could hear the whole conversation. There needs to be better sound insulation from the adjoining doors. The hotel was really very COVID conscious and that was appreciated but it did mean that the breakfast was a bit sparse and there was a lot of packaging waste.

The room was spacious and clean, and the check in was simple. Employees were incredibly friendly and organized. Stay was affordable and pleasant. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the pool was clean. The whole time I felt very relaxed and was even checked on by staff during my stay to make sure I was enjoying it.

The pillows were very flat. This is truly the only critique i can think of.

Blessing who was at the front desk and the staff at this hotel MADE the whole visit. The hotel was clean and comfortable but the customer service was the best. It was an incredibly busy weekend and the staff wasn't just kind, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They welcomed the kids and remembered us every time we came through the door.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, FOOD, LOCATION, PARKING, SAFETY.

the front of the building is not well marked and i did not even think i was at the hotel after i pulled up i left and had to circle around again, YOU NEED A SIGN OUT FRONT not Hilton but Hampton - if you brand this hotel as a certain brand, USE THE NAME ON THE FRONT DOOR PLEASE!!! it's very confusing to know Hampton is owned by Hilton. also i wanted to use the stairs but it was confusing to know where to come out on ground floor and ended up switching back into elevators on 2nd floor. it should be easy, encouraged and made known to those who want to avoid elevators.

Extremely clean. Room was spotless. Front desk was super nice upon arrival. Loved coffee in the lobby was easily accessible in AM. Great location!

The parking garage doesn’t connect to the hotel. I’m sure it has to do with security and safety, so the minor inconvenience of walking outdoors to the parking garage isn’t something that can be changed.

breakfast was excellent but I feel a little bit uncomfortable with the morning staff looking at me like I'm a lost immigrant because I look like latina and wearing a simple clothing not even bother to say Good Morning, but just a look! The Tuesday night receptionist when I checked in was exceptional, been very active and considerate on what I need and give me bottles of water when I asked if they do have water. I will recommend this place to anybody.

parking! need to pay $4 for parking and need to go back and walk to the hotel after you park your car.

I liked everything about our room. It was very clean and the staff was great.

I did not like the fact that we were never told until we checked in that there was/is a $25 a day parking fee to park our car at the hotel. Not only that but, we were only allowed to park on the 4th floor of the parking garage. That's is a walk with luggage! We were told we could unload our luggage at the door but it was impossible due to high traffic & very limited space at the front door.
