La Quinta by Wyndham University Area Chapel Hill

Did not have breakfast there as we slept too late, but dining area was large, clean, full of natural light and comfortable. The room was clean and well-kept, and the staff was courteous and helpful despite last-minute reservation and having arrived late enough that we were marked as "no-show."

Breakfast could have been available at least one hour later than 9:00 AM. We didn't stay long enough to make use of the lovely indoor pool, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. No other significant issues.

the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and timely. The staff was very helpful and professional. The room had a fridge and a microwave. The parking was easy and accessible every time.

The hotel website indicated that it had a business center on sight, but when I got there, I was told that there was a business center in a few months. The staff did offer the hotel email to send her what I needed printed.

I loved the rooms appliances and the breakfast. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The facility was very presentable. I loved that it only allowed smoking in certain areas.

I didn't like that the pool was ice cold and it wasn't very clean. The water had floating hair all in it. The Red Lobster that's nextdoor wasn't good at all.

Great staff and facilities. Unfortunately the breakfast was mediocre. Don't know if it was do to OCVID restrictions.

I liked everything except the breakfast.

My daughter and I spent the night at this facility so that we would be close to NCCU. We needed to get an early start and move her back to campus the next morning. Being able to get a peaceful night of sleep was essential for us. We were able to do that. This facility was relatively quiet, very peaceful, close to NCCU and reasonably priced. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. I would definitely stay there again!

Cleanliness

Staff was rude upon booking, I had a visa gift card to pay for my stay, the same card that was on file when I booked the room. There was a total of $287 on the card, however, I could not use it. I had to use money I was saving for something else and it was an inconvenience because I had to use money from another source and I shouldn't have had to!!

nice layout and rooms were nice. plenty of space in our room. bed was comfortable. shower was good.

we booked this hotel because of the indoor pool. the problem was the pool was closed the entire time we were there. the staff and manager were very professional about the issue and nice. the manager took some off of our bill for the inconvenience. we are happy

Good clean room. Hotel not run down even though it is old. People very helpful.

The back door entrance did not lock and everybody knew it. This is a room-key activated entrance. But you don’t need to use a key. the guy loitering around, drinking a beer and smirking a cigarette told me it was broken and I did meet to use my room key. Sure enlighten, I just pulled the door open. I wonder if that guy was a guest or just a local who likes to hang out in back of the property?

travel for medical issue. Will have to travel frequently.

Everything was fine, although my son had to drive as my husband and I in our 80's....But I am still a firecracker...lol. I should have opted for another room for my son...I have to have the tv on to sleep and he has to have silence. Next time another seperate room for him...

The friendliness of the staff, the breakfast, and cleaniness

The fact that the room doors even if you have the top latched if opened once and shut and open again someone could get out or in, I personally lock that for my toddler to not get out but he was able to. maybe invest in chains at the top of the room doors for added security
