Murphy Motel

I liked the clean room and the hotel manager. He accommodated all my needs. There is no smoking inside the room, so they provide a sitter area outside your room with chairs and ashtrays to make it easier. The price was more than fair for my three nights. My wife and I were visiting a friend in that area and if we ever go back we will be staying at the Murphy Hotel.

There were nothing I didn't like.

This motel sits a few miles out of Murphy on a quiet main highway, at least at night. It is a barebones property that provides only the necessities. Bring your own hair dryer. I stay at this motel whenever I'm in Murphy because its comfortable, quiet, very competitively priced and above all well maintained and immaculately clean. The flooring in the room is white ceramic tile, which at first seems strange but nothing is hiding on that shiny surface. I need a room to sleep so I don't look for luxury or onsite bar and restaurant (neither of which is available). The wifi signal is good and fast.

The towels are somewhat small and thin. I would like a larger towel but they are adequate.

They had tile floors they were so clean the bathroom was absolutely spotless I walked around and white socks and they were still white the bed was soft and hard at the same time each room is soundproof you can’t even hear anything from outside or the room next-door the air conditioning and heating were unbelievably great

Basic roadside motel. Room smelled clean- no musty smell, no cigarette smell. No roaches, hot water worked, bed was adequate, owner was friendly.

Rooms have basic, cheap furnishings. Looks like the furniture was picked up at a yard sale. And yes, there are stains on the sheets and towels, but that doesn't bother me so much. Finally, it's right off the freeway, so expect to hear the occasional semi truck all through the night.

This is a basic property with no breakfast, but the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable, and the shower head gave a wonderful, strong stream of water.

The pillows had no support at all, so I woke up with a headache, and regretting that I had not brought my own pillow.

Very comfortable bed. Nice clean room. Very friendly man who checked me in. Will stay here my next trip to Murphy

The towels, but I brought my own because I know you can't get everything and a GREAT price too.

I was visiting out of state to see some family. This was my second time staying at the establishment. It seems to be family run but nonetheless extremely personable! They were very understanding when I needed to add an extra day to my stay. Each day I received fresh towels. Fair price. No complaints

Location. Relatively clean... was a little stuffy at first but aired out well.

Fridge decided to defrost and got some of our luggage wet that was on the floor next to it. Staff was quick to clean it up for us.

Unless I’m mistaken, the rooms were non smoking but there were ash trays outside of every room. No one was smoking during the time that I was there though.

This is a "get more bang for your buck" kinda of place! It was a great price for our one night stay! It was super clean and the bed was super comfy and clean! Only 20 minutes from the casino! Would 10/10 recommend!
