Beau Rivage Golf and Resort

The place was nice and the staff was very nice. The suite was great--two comfy beds in the bedroom, a large bathroom, and a nice sitting area with a sofa, chair, ottoman, game table, desk, and TV desk. The bedroom also had a TV and a generous-sized dresser. A small kitchenette off the living room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and one-cup coffee maker. We did not have a closet; it was closed and had a sign on it saying that it was the "maintenance area." (This might just have been our room, which was #10.) The golf greens seemed nice, but we did not play golf. The resort was a little off the beaten path. The hotel is the flagship of a community that also apparently includes single-family homes and four-unit condos. The neighborhood overall is humble. In other words, this isn't an intimidating, schmancy resort; it's pretty laid-back and low-key. The hotel is two-story building. The rooms were very clean, and all of the furniture was comfortable. The menu offerings seemed great, and the prices were quite reasonable, but we did not eat the restaurant. The restaurant closed around 9 p.m. and my understanding is the staff left then, too--not sure, though. The parking was free, and there was plenty of it.

We were charged for our room before rather than after we stayed in it. That was surprising. It would have been nice if we could access the closet. We had no maid service during our stay.

Stayed only one night but absolutely loved the facility. The room was huge, well decorated and the view of the golf course was fun, and there was a balcony to sit on. Had I been there longer I would've loved to try the bar (and pickleball). It is really close to the beach and Wilmington!

The coffee maker in the room was a weak point but I probably could've gotten coffee in the restaurant.

location. room was so big. 20 mins away from downtown and 10 mins from the beach. bed was big and comfy. stuff is so friendly. I forgot my engagement ring, called back and picked it up in a few hours. they went to the room to check immediately!

room wasn’t clean properly. found bunch of dirty socks under the bed. my husband is really tall, wouldn’t recommend it to anybody tall since you can’t even fit in to the bathroom. was ok for me.

The room was huge! I also enjoyed the view of the golf course. The staff was very friendly when I had called and helped me figure out the best way to do a late check-in.

The shower could be updated. I could not connect to wifi during my visit with the code given to me by the front desk either night of my stay.

I liked the restaurant/bar so close. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the large common/kitchenette space was nice and separated from the bedroom enough that someone in the bedroom would not be disturbed.

Although I loved being on the ground floor, I was next to the stairway and in the morning there was a lot of activity.

Bar and food was good, met new residents that were really friendly. Staff was friendly, food was reasonably priced and convenient. Location was good also, room wasn't expected to be the size it was and had a nice view off balcony. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable and no house keeping disturbing us in the mornings. Definitely will plan another stay here

One thing was the golfers coming in and parking in front of hotel rooms. Toilet in our room could use an updated one.

EVERYTHING was perfect ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and grounds are very clean. The golf course was in great shape for being this early in the year. If I could give it more than a 10 I would. I 100% recommend staying here because I know I will be back!!!

Staff and other guests were very friendly. Enjoyed the pool too!

We had 4 people listed in our party but only had 3 sets of towels in the room. There is also no fan in the bathroom so you can hear everyone pee. Lastly, it was very dark. Optional nightlights would have been nice.

Great location with easy access to the beach or downtown wilmington.

The staff from the Pro shop drive the golf carts at top speed through the parking area with no regard for guest safety or respect. One guy came within inches of hitting my wife and child.

We loved our room. It was great to have a sittting area separate from the bedroom. Clubhouse and pool was great! Overall great location when visiting Carolina Beach. We'll definitely be back!
