Carolina Beach Inn

Location is perfect. Place is clean, good parking, nicely set up.

I would have been ecstatic at the place for $225-250/nt. $325/nt was too much. Also, the mattress in room #2 was so uncomfortable (hard) my wife did not sleep a minute the first night. The hostess was great, and responsive to the best of her ability, basically also giving us unoccupied room #3, which had a better mattress, to sleep in for nights 2-3. I swapped the queen-sized mattresses between the two rooms so we could stay w/ our stuff in the slightly larger room #2.

The suite was delightful. The furniture was comfortable. Many provisions for pets (food and water bowls, towels for pets, dog crate). Kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to the boardwalk, shops and restaurants. Yet quite at night.

The window AC units were loud, but since the property was build in the 1940's, expected. the stove was older and the burners didn't fit properly, so they didn't lie flat, making for uneven cooking.

The ease of checking in was incredible! Upon entering the facility you see the great health score rating of 100. The place smelled great to be so close to the beach. My room was small but had everything I needed and more! I didn't mind the 3 blocks to the beach and so many nearby restaurants.

The Booking.com had the room listed with a kitchenette. My room didn't have a kitchen but I paid the kitchenette rate. I called the Inn and was told that booking had the rooms labeled wrong. No the fault of Carolina Inn. My stay was still lovely.

The Inn was very convenient to everything! Our room was great. We had everything that we needed in the room including a fan. This is a pet friendly place so if you dont like cute doggies and some barking, its not for you. If you have forgotten anything from a razor to a can opener they have it for you to use.

The parking wasnt the greatest, sometimes there wasnt anywhere to park. The only way to the rooms on the second floor was a smaller hallway with steps. The room was a little smaller than expected but still plenty of room for our things.

Cozy and close to everything. Enjoyed the atmosphere. East to walk to different areas. Staff was friendly. We would like to come back and rent a room with a door to the balcony. It would be nice to be able to sit outside, but we felt lucky to be able to find this room on short notice.'

Through no fault of the facility, but a neighbor had a dog that barked a lot. Luckliey our dog did not respond to other dogs.

I loved the quaintness of it, the impeccable attention to detail of the owners and staff. The friendliness and ease with which we were able to interact with staff. As most of us had dogs, it was very dog, friendly, and accommodating. Cannot wait to come back.

I wish the property was wheelchair accessible so that I could bring my son. I think it would be easy to add a ramp to one end of the building. Hopefully future properties will be wheelchair accessible, as well as dog friendly.

Loved the location and room. Wonderful experience otherwise.

Only two issues: water-while water was offered for free it was in huge plastic containers that I would never be able to lift let alone pour into the coffee pot! Door security: loved the electronic panel but was not told it did not self lock staff said everyone gets confused-might want to inform guests prior to arriving.

Location was great, privacy was decent and loved the balcony. Quiet but not too far from the board walk and beach. Parking was nice as well. Would definitely come back again and let family and friends know.

Spring bed was squeaky. Would've preferred curtains over the blinds for more privacy, especially for the bathroom window. Felt as if anyone could look in at night with lights on even when closed.

The (Innkeepers/Coastal King) Suite was cute and comfy much nicer than a normal Hotel room. The location was very close to everything. Definitely would stay again.

Could use an additional small storage stand in the bathroom and possibly a dresser (chest of drawers ) or something (more shelving?), somewhere to put away clothes. The shower is a little small

The hotel was clean and cozy. Well-maintained and affordable for its location. We were in walking distance to the boardwalk and beach (less than 5 min walk). My daughter and I was extremely satisfied with our stay. For the single bed rooms, there are refrigerators, microwave, closet, and an iron. The basic essentials for your stay. Also, the hotel provides chairs, surf/body boards, beach towels, etc for use at the beach! Will definitely return! Thank you for making our first visit to Carolina Beach a memorable one.
